The shower room was a bit small, and water tended to spill outside when the kids took a shower, but it wasn’t a big issue for us.

The location is excellent — just a short walk from the metro station, bus stop, and a small supermarket, which made getting around very convenient. We arrived from the airport using public transport with no issues. Pedro, the host, was very friendly and welcoming. We needed to pick up our rental car from the Barcelona city centre and he kindly allowed us to leave our luggage at the hostel and collect it after our checkout time, which was really helpful. Breakfast was simple but a nice way to start the day. Overall, a great stay!

Older but fine!

Loved the location in the quiet, lovely area of Sarrià. Even though this hostel is nestled in a true neighborhood, there were lots of good restaurants, gelato shops, grocery stores, pharmacies and retail shops. There is even a square nearby with a lovely church. The staff was at the hostel were fantastic, and it was close to the metro station which takes you directly to the older, more AA touristy part of Barcelona. This is a basic hostel but VERY well run. The place was clean and it felt VERY safe! That is what I was looking for and the neighborhood, and location were a big bonus! I would definitely stay here again since it was good value.

1. It was quite expensive (as were most Barcelona options to be fair) - the breakfast could have been a bit better with more options. 2. Was the first time I faced the city tax issue - this is nothing about the property but think Booking.com should highlight this a bit more on the bookings page; had no idea this payment was pending (the payment was made by card) until the host kindly informed on the final night.

Same breakfast everyday which consisted in a baguette coffee and juice and a mini muffin! It was a bit simple but overall ok

I really liked the manager/owner, really friendly and helpful! Breakfast was included and the room was perfect size for us, the bathroom had a large and functioning shower with strong water pressure! There was a metro stop by the building, which took you straight to Sarria from which you could connect to many different lines so not bad. AC was strong!

For me as a single traveller it was perfect. The single room was basic but had it's own bathroom and shower (quite small), and was all I needed. The location was out of the centre, in a safe, affluent zone with shops and restaurants, but easy to get a bus or the metro into the centre itself and didn't take long. The staff were fantastic, helpful and welcoming, and breakfast was included. I would stay there again.

The bathroom was a little bit small, but still a good value for the price we paid.

The staff is amazing! They treated us super nicely, we also enjoyed breakfast a lot :) If you ask for a Catalan-style tomato with bread they may be able to give it (if available). The location is very nice, although a bit far from the city center, we enjoyed the neighborhood, it's quiet and safe :) We also loved the rooftop!

Nothing really. Bit too far away from city centre but it was only our fault. :) Would advise some fruits added to the breakfast menu but fresh and still warm baguette was excellent.

Very welcoming staff, kind and helpful. Pedro is very positive, polite. Good part of the city, we felt safe. Easy to find. Excellent communication.

The shower was barely large enough. Had some difficulty bending down to my knees to shower. The trash bin inside was jammed against a tight corner was in a awkward position. AC is central so in fall/winter only heating is available with the AC.

Location was great - Good and safe neighbourhood. Groceries 1m away. Close to a metro, bus stops and most importantly Barcelona Bus Touristic stop is close by. The room, toilet and shower was all clean. The wifi was also great.

The rooms are very basic and you might be able to hear some noise, if you suffer from that. Price a little high, but good with respect to other hotels. Likely due to events and festivities in Barcelona on that day.

Good place to stay, not too far from the center, well connected and in a nice area. Simple accommodation, but very clean. Small breakfast included in the price. Very sympathetic staff

The beds were short, i think around 180 or 190cm. The inner walls don't protect from the noise, but most of the time it was quiet.. AC was pretty loud

Breakfast was very basic and okay (juice, coffee, bread and muffin) didn’t really meet our expectations. Wish there was body soap in the bathroom but I guess you get what you paid for.

Room was very clean. We were given a lot of towels and bed sheets were good too. Pedro, who managed the hostel, was extremely accommodating and nice! He let us put our luggages in room first and settle down before we filled out necessary paperwork. He also gave us great recommendations of places to visit in Barcelona! Overall, not bad experience
