The location is quite high on a private, gated road. It's not easy to up, and sometimes the communication to request a ride on the Rec de Palau golf cart is spotty. I don't remember knowing about this aspect of the property so it was a bit of a surprise.

We couldn´t open the windows in our room as it was directly outside a walking path for guests to the swimming pool.

Location was away from the main area of Cadaques so had privacy. Great view from the top of the hill.

Very simple and basic room for the price. I would love to see a kettle in room for a cup of tea ! The staff were so lovely and friendly and helpful. Love the main building. It’s very beautiful. Couldn’t see a menu for restaurant - would be nice to be able to see what they offer, when open. A nice stay thank you

Nothing to dislike but be aware this is not a "Hotel" in the traditional sense.. its a series of rooms in some grounds.

This hotel was unexepected.. (in a good way). Its not really a hotel.. its a collection of rooms and small buildings situated in what I would describe as a small hillside park.. There are three pools (or two depending on how you count) and a sprawling restaurant and reception in the main house.. We were allocated a self catering "room" - which was actually two bedrooms plus a living room and a kitchen.. you can walk down to each of the beaches in Cadaques.. and there is parking onsite.. all in all this is a uniuqe a cool place to stay..

The views from the property are spectacular and the staff were extremely personable and accommodating. Felt like we were in nature. The American breakfast was delicious and quite abundant. Lunch and dinner were equally good. Amazing sunrise views and good food. Although the property is located well above the beach, pick up service on the golf cart to and from the main entrance was efficient when we didn't feel like walking up.

Difficult access. You have to drive through a peatonal street to get there and ascend the mountain either driving or by foot. Difficult both ways but totally worth it.

The suite with terrace had direct access to a semi private pool with an incredible view. It felt like the whole deck was ours. So easy coming in an out from the room to this paradise. Very comfortable and inviting to stay for hours enjoying the environment.

For as much character as the downstairs longe area had, the rooms were sterile and straight out of Ikea. The outdoor area is in need of maintenance, the pool was nice but not functioning as pictured and a bit neglected. This hotel was one of the ones we were looking forward to most and were underwhelmed.

The view from this hotel was breathtaking, and the design on the lower restaurant was spectacular. This place has the potential to be great with a little love.

The room was pretty small and had only a single tiny window resulting in a bit of a claustrophobic feel.

We loved the property and the small team working there. It did seem strange that in such an upmarket hotel there were only paper cups in the room. Also the pool was lovely but the lounges had no cushions so were a bit hard.

The room was beautifully airy, quiet and well appointed. A continental breakfast on the deck with brilliant views of Cadaques was a wonderful way to start the day.

Plenty of small things: a lamp that doesn’t work, curtains don’t close completely, toiletpaperholder didn’t work, a bedsheet that’s too small. Etc. Things you wouldn’t expect for the price paid.

there was only one pillow (small) the window was broken we wanted to do some netflix and chill, but we could'nt because the last people who stayed in the room didn't log out of their account. and we could'nt do it ourselves because it was in german, and we don't speak german.
