No security lock up for bikes but no worries as very secluded.

Superb breakfast. Best of the whole trip. Was complementary as there was a temporary lack of hot water which didn't really inconvenience us. No restaurant but recommended an unlikely looking bar in Noriega (walkable) which was superb and inexpensive.

This is a fabulous hotel, which is beautifully appointed with large comfortable rooms. They also have an excellent breakfast, which can be purchased for a reasonable fee. The hostess was incredibly lovely and went out of her way to fix me a small bite to eat when I arrived to the hotel in the early evening. Highly recommend. Excellent hotel. Lovely rooms, great views and lovely staff. The beds were comfy, great pillows and a bath and showers and very quiet at night. The sweets left for us were appreciated. We didn’t have breakfast. I would recommend getting a taxi from the village to the hotel. We walked from the camino there and got the lady at the hotel to book taxis for us (10 euros) for us. Had dinner at the excellent Mexican restaurant and my pals loved the margaritas.

This hotel is drop dead gorgeous. It has a grand staircase built with beautiful old wood. There are two comfy and beautiful sitting areas on the ground floor. The grounds are gorgeous, beautiful lawn and plants. I am walking the Camino, so it did add a little mileage to my day, but the hostess arranged a cab to take me back to the trail in the AM. They had a pilgrims dinner too.

Distance off Camino but over ome hy help from the staff

Unique stay in a period mansion - treated like royalty by Christina and Valentina - hardwood floors, balcony with views for miles over the valleys. No dinner but cheese and meat charcuterie with bread gave us what we needed as pilgrims. Breakfast downstairs overlooking the garden - amazing variety and best fruit and yogurt. Thick toast etc . Whilst 2.5 km from Colombres we walked out and lovely walk. Took a taxi in the morning which they organised to get back onto Camino.

Everything was Great. But a kettle would be a nice touch in the room.

Everything. It was comfortable. Amazing views. Good shower Nice breakfast. Lovely host. We were walking the Camino. It’s 2.5km off route but in a beautiful quote location. Perhaps a little too remote and no kettle room and no shop close by. If only they made dinner to it would be the icing on the cake. Even cake and coffee to get you through would be amazing.

Great boutique hotel. Our rooms were very clean & comfortable. Parking on site was a bonus. The breakfast is very good. We (group of 5) arrived mid evening & the hotel directed us to a restaurant literally 2 mins walk from the hotel. The restaurant was very good. Best steak I’ve had in a while. The hotel is old world charm.

Loved this historical hotel in the country of villaneuva, set on a block with beautiful garden and a field with cows. Very tranquil. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean with a great view of the surrounding country side.

It is a bit off the Camino, about 3kms after a long walk was a bit difficult. You can get a taxi from Unquera but not on a Sunday

This is a beautiful property, Christine checked us in, she was extremely pleasant and helpful. Fantastic breakfast the next morning. Our room had stunning views. Stay here if you can, it will not disappoint

The soundproofing between our room and next doors bathroom felt non existent. It might be an idea for a two tier breakfast. We don't like eating a large breakfast,so perhaps a reduced rate for coffee &toast only would be nice.

Cristina was exemplary! Due to injuries incurred while walking the Camino I was relying on taxis for Hotel door-to-door service. I had communicated with Cristina the day before requesting early check-in and she was so gracious and accommodating. She gave me a room that was worth more than I had paid for. It had a beautiful living area with full windows that allowed me to savor the landscape. Please see pictures. The hotel was tastefully modernized with an elevator without detracting from its charming decor. My room and bath were lovely. Breakfast consisted of a wide assortment of goodies: cakes and fruit, meats, cheeses, bread, spreads and cereals. All in all a delightful stay.
