Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

RomaniaYou have to pay a parking place from the hotel. Otherwise you have to park in the street and this is a problem if you want your car near to the hotel. Public parking is available near the beach, but you have to walk for 10 min
great half-board. The rooms are quite big and very clean.

NetherlandsShower in the bathtub
The hotel is located along a road that leads to the beach, which is about a 5-minute walk. The beach has a decent beach bar and some sunbeds and parasols. The hotel itself is fine if you’re just passing through. I wouldn’t stay here for a longer holiday. The pool is okay but quite small and not very attractive. There is some entertainment for kids if they enjoy that. There’s also mini-golf and a small game room where you can pay to play a few games. The staff was friendly and helpful, which we really appreciated. We had a room with two double beds, which was fine. Shower was in the bathtub, which I always find a bit annoying. But everything was clean, so no complaints there.

United KingdomThe rooms should have more socket points. 1 in the bedroom and 1 in the bathroom. Was difficult when I had meetings and had to use laptop. Had to charge phones and other gadgets in the bathroom, not safe or practical.
This hotel is in a very good location. Easy access to the beach and many other amenities. Private parking is available for a fee. Breakfast buffet is always good, catering for everyone.

BelgiumThe activities (music, quiz, etc) can be more internationally oriented (not only French), although we do understand the French people constitute 90% of their clients. But the English speaking ones are left out.
It was our 5th time to Prestige Goya Hotel. Everything was super. We really feel like going "home". The staff is super nice and helpful, starting from the ladies at the reception, at the restaurant (kudos to Eugenio, Susana,Vicky, Gloria, Cristina, Carla etc etc for their hard work and always with a smile), the animation team, the team at the bar. They all do a great job. We love it here, the location was super, no problems finding parking in the street, the shows in the evening were nice and different. The meals were good and plenty of choices. We stayed 3 weeks and we loved every moment of it. We always discover more possibilities to do things at the hotel or around (visit Cadaques, Besalu, Pals, Peratallada, Escala, Begur or further to Tossa de Mar, Calella de Palafrugell or even to France to Collioure, Perpignan). We just left, but our 12 yo daughter is counting the days until we go back :)

PortugalAll perfect.
This place is a gem. Big and comfortable rooms with balcony, great location (3 min walking to the beach), nice pool with activities for the kids the entire day, animation every night with a different show, wonderful breakfast and dinner, very competitive all inclusive tariffs, the staff is very nice (all of them, you really feel welcomed here), free and safe parking in the streets around the hotel. In sum, all perfect, impossible to make things better.

FranceThe room : too small for 3 beds (1 double and 2 singles), no tables/chairs in the room, only 1 night table for the 3 beds/ the two of us (parents) The beds : the bedsheets were very noisy at each movement done, the bed was uncomfortable (too soft) for me but not for my husband who likes it. The bathroom : smelly, no hangers for the towels The balcony : only 2 chairs for 4 people The restaurant : too noisy, too busy with a very bad logistics (always missing something, for example the cutlery : spoon, glass, …) no tray so very inconvenient, especially when you have kids and have to go back and forth to get all the food you need, the milk coffee was not tasty, the food/buffet (breakfast or dinner) wasn’t good quality and expensive for what it was. The elevator : 3 of them but tiny and always busy that sometimes it was better to use the stairs. The mini golf : a bit too old and need some refurbishments
The staff : Helpful and nice The location : near the beach and amenities The view from the room (mountains and sea) The parking : expensive, small but available The swimming pool and the garden : we did not use it because it was not that hot but seems to be tiny if everybody would have used it. The hotel is very family/kids friendly
