The hosts, the food - we ate breakfast and dinner every day, home cooked and delicious , vegetables from the garden, just pure goodness. The pool was a treat. View was charming, peaceful.

Nothing to complain, all good.

Posada Hoyal was a lovely surprise during our visit to Picos de Europa National Park. The property is super pretty and well taken care of, the garden, the wood, everything is in great shape. The owners are super sweet and the pool is super clean and great for a swim after the whole day of hiking. The room was comfortable and we slept super well. We were with the car, so not sure about public transportation access. Overall great stay and we would go back there again :)

Great rural location, food is first class. Hosts are very friendly, swimming pool is the icing on the cake! Perfect location for our group of 4 motorcyclists.

Breakfast was rather basic unless you opted for extras. We loved the swimming pool.

There was not much choice for a vegetarian meal, and breakfast was rather expensive for a continental breakfast.

The room was large with a lovely balcony looking out towards the mountains. Friendly and helpful staff. The swimming pool was an added bonus and kept beautifully clean like the rest of the hotel.

Both hosts were welcoming and helpful The room was well equipped. The balcony was lovely. Breakfast and dinners were delicious. The setting was beautiful and the hens and geese made it even more special.

Shower was temperamental, had to run hot water at the sink to save being scolded, no shortage of hot water. Took some time to find correct balance. On arrival one of the bed side lights appeared faulty however it was due to a loose bulb.

Location was excellent, views were absolutely stunning, quiet restful village. Staff were friendly and attentive when required. Dined in the restaurant in the evening, home cooked and very tasty. Wine was excellent as recommended by staff member. Despite comments regary the shower would definitely, happily stay again. Highly recommend this posada.

We have been so many times and it just gets better. We love it...everything about it. The rooms,the garden,the very delicious food and best of all Oscar and Carmen..really the best hosts. We will be back!

It was in beautiful surroundings, quiet, lovely pool, lovely couple who own and run the hotel. Great food in the restaurant and breakfast. Home made produce too. Loved the views and the geese and chicken neighbours. Definitely worth a stop here near to Parque National de Los Picos

You can hear neighbors a bit although when everyone is asleep is total silence. Not a lot close by to do/eat so you need to take the car down the road.

Very nice people and very comfortable rooms and bed. Simple but good breakfast! Property is beautiful and nice pool.

Absolutely loved our stay here. It is in a beautiful, tranquil setting. The room was spacious and very comfortable and the pool was lovely. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant is excellent.

It is located in a tranquil area and has a very relaxed atmosphere. There are plenty of places to explore nearby, and access to Picos de Europa is close by. Nice mountain view surrounded by trees. Owners of the hotel are very nice, rooms and food as well.

It is worth more than 1 star. It was peaceful and value for money. Pool was a huge bonus and a nice area to be in. We really enjoyed our stay. It's very clean. Basic rooms, but hey the price...

Beautiful location with a pool and mountain view, a lively bar and restaurant where as a solo traveller I easily mixed with other guests. The owners are very approachable and went out of their way to assist me. Lots of produce used in the kitchen comes from their own garden.

The hotel is quite isolated- there is nowhere to walk to in the evenings. Lacked atmosphere due to the low number of other guests.

Generous sized room with a seating area and balcony- we paid for an upgrade. Friendly service at breakfast and dinner. Great quality food. We enjoyed the birds singing in the morning and the mountain sounds at night- the tawny owls were very loud!

Floors are a bit squeaky

Fantastic location right in the middle of beautiful hills and forest loads of birds singing lovely pool very tasty food excellent service and very comfy bed . I came for one day and stayed for four days in the end . The pool is lovely surrounded by mountains
