clean hotel, greeted by the very friendly hosts who were very accommodating by providing us with good information of the area.Breakfast was lovely. Parking was great as they opened some land next door for us to park on. Dog friendly. Will definitely stay again on our twice a year journey down to the Costa del Sol. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable.

No complaints. The town might be too quiet for some, particularly if staying longer but we were happy. (Rolling's bar in the centre is a gem. At first glance a Heavy Metal Bar it's frequented by all ages and tastes, offering great value food and drinks).

We chose the town for easy access to as many windmill sites as possible in a day, so didn't have any expectations. When we arrived at the property (early) the owners were a phone call away and couldn't have been more helpful, making sure our breakfasts would be what we wanted, and opening up the yard next door to give us unexpected secure, and free parking. The lift was really welcome, and the room comfortable. Breakfast was left out for us, with plenty of choice and in civilised surroundings. No doubt in Summer the rooftop pool would have been a welcome bonus. Nice to spend some time in an ordinary town, with no tourists, and we got to plenty of windmills.

The place was very comfortable and opposite to a nice restaurant. Excellent location to visit the windmills, which you could see from the rooftop.

Everything!!!! Mila was a fantastic hostess and could not have been more welcoming and friendly, her pre arrival communication was also excellent. We travelled as a couple with two very well behaved golden retrievers. Posada del Herrero is a beautiful building that has been tastefully restored to a very high standard. It was spotlessly clean and smelled really nice. Our room was generous and we overlooked a small courtyard. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom well equipped and ultra clean. Mila recommend a local taverna where we had lovely food and a couple of drinks. We also had a nice walk around the town. Breakfast was more of a feast than anything else. Again, chatting with the lovely Mila made it extra special. We will definitely return to Posada del Herrero.

We loved everything about this hotel!

I loved how friendly and personable the ladies were who ran the hotel during our stay. They were fun to talk to and very attentive to our needs. I loved the breakfasts and the chance to meet travelers from all over. The room was so comfortable and the coziness of the hotel will definitely bring us back next time we visit Madridejos! We absolutely loved it!

If only the rooms had air conditioning, or even a ceiling fan they would have been perfect. There is a small roof top pool to cool of though, so that was a bonus.

The hotel is located in a lovely area close to restaurants and bars, also convenient along our route on to Costa Del Sol. The rooms are a decent size and extremely quaint and comfortable. The owner is very pleasant and attentive and was always on hand to help.
