The room felt a bit small for a family of four. The space was limited, considering we had luggage for 4 people.

The room was clean with a good wi-fi signal. The location couldn’t have been better, right next to PortAventura park with easy access to the park.

Not directly about the property, but I purchased it as a package with park tickets and this is about the park; we were there on a Friday in August and the amount of people in the main attractions was impossible. It was very clear that the park is selling too many Express tickets for priority; some attractions with an estimated waiting time of 20min would easily become 1h due to the continuous flow of Express people going in front of standard tickets (they were also in queue!!) We felt a bit scammed with that (this time of the year should be medium occupation according to the site)

No tee in the Room, no hot water!

No possibility to eat after 16.00 in the Hotel or near the Hotel - everything is closed !! In the Park - the same! Going to the water park - very far! No taxi or shuttle! In the Water park our belongings were stolen! No security team and nobody writes down the complaints!

Hard plastic sunbeds with no mattress. Not possible to sit on unless you want a bad back. Over priced and not really 4 star. 3 at a push. No water or tea & coffee facilities in the room and had to pay 18 euros to store luggage until check in which was only 3 hours. We paid over £700 for 2 rooms for 1 night and felt that it didn't quite meet the standard expected for that cost.

The rooms were a little hot (couldn'tfind the aircon), the bathrooms steamed up very quickly, making the tiles lethal. There didn't seem to be any vents. I could have that wrong but we didn't find any.

We loved Gold River. The location to the park, the theme, the storage lockers, the access to the park. We were delighted.

There was a door connecting our room to the neighbours room and you can hear every last noise coming from next door.

Location of the hotel was perfect , 5 minute walk to the park entrance. Only a 45 minute walk to the centre of salou. Everywhere was clean and staff was very helpful

There were very long queues at mealtimes, especially at dinner, and I must mention that I was there in April, so not in peak season.

No place for drying clothes like swimming suits after the pool or the aqua park. The entire complex wants to take your money like you can't make your own coffee, they charge you for it and the park is expensive with the food and drinks.

Overall everything was great, maybe I could expect from a 4 star hotel to have some complimentary water in the room upon arrival and at least juices or non alcoholic drinks at the dinner buffet. If we wanted to have anything to drink we had to order from the bar and pay separately.

Hospitable staff, great location at the entry in the park, delicious and diverse food options for both breakfast and dinner. In the evening children were entertained by animators and could have lots of fun dancing and singing with Woody. Room was very spacious and clean, bathroom equipped with the necessities .

Walls were super thin though and unfortunately our first night's sleep was disturbed by late comers home and running up and down the hallway. Food choices were mostly good but quality of food at the buffet was lower than expected, having stayed nearby last year we expected a high quality, but it wasn't as good as we hoped.

Room was lovely, aircon worked perfectly and kept the room nice and chilled. Fridge in the room was needed and kept the drinks nice and cold. Views over the pool and into the park were wonderful.
