The bed was very narrow; one time I almost fell off it in my sleep. That's the only thing I didn't like.

Wonderful service! I have stayed in expensive hotels, and this one is by no means worse. The staff is very attentive and caring. They somehow manage to create the impression that they are really happy to have me as a guest and genuinely want to do something for me. :) In the local cafeteria (apparently open around the clock, though I didn’t check), there is free tea, coffee, juices, pastries, and fruit. And also – it was a pleasant surprise! – every day they hung a bag with a bottle of water and some kind of pastry on the door handle. My window faced Santa Ana square, and downstairs was Atocha street, but surprisingly, it wasn’t noisy. Absolutely clean, everything brand new. The room is very small, but there are many hooks with hangers, plus a table where you can spread out your things.

The cleanness needs some improvements. We found two cockroaches in our room. The staff has quickly let us changed to another room. The second room has no cockroaches. The floor can be a little more cleaner.

The location is excellent and the staffs are very nice and helpful. The morning simple breakfast is also very nice.

Loved the nice touch of leaving a bag with one or two baked goods with water outside the door in the mornings-it’s a lovely gesture to guests. Staff are very welcoming. Great location also. I did find my room a little warm so not sure how effective the air conditioning was or whether the heating in the building was on a lot.

The location is unbeatable, steps away from the Mayor Square. The Royal palace and the museums are all within walking distance. I really love the room, cosy, clean and modernly decorated. The staff are friendly and helpful. They don't provide breakfast, but we found a paper bag hanging on the door with bread every morning. There is also a coffee corner with free coffee, cookies and fruit. These equal to a simple breakfast in my judgement.

No coffee maker or kettle in room, no cups etc. everything is in the tea room in the basement, which is nice, but sometimes you don't want to have to leave the room. The shower was an awful experience.

Room itself and the view were awesome, staff are very helpful and friendly.

Nothing, all was perfect!

The hotel is very well located, staff very friendly and the room very comfortable. They even gave us the 12 grapes to eat for the New Year's and left a "care package" at the door the next morning that had 2 bottles of water, 2 little cupckaes and donuts. It's the little things that make the difference.
