Such a beautiful location in a sleepy surfing part of the island - not built up and never feeling crowded and busy - just relaxed and peaceful.

The room was not very well sound proofed and I could hear everything happening in the room next door so it isn't ideal if you are a light sleeper. Also, the pool area is really nice but it is difficult to get a sun lounger, people were 'reserving' sun loungers from breakfast time but then going out for the most of the day - it got quite frustrating when actually wanting to use the space but not being able to use a sun lounger.

Overall the hotel is a great option for a holiday in Tenerife - the hotel/rooms are really nicely decorated, staff are friendly and there are plenty of options at the breakfast buffet. The hotel is in a good spot on the outskirts of El Medano (but right on the beach) and it is an easy 10 minute walk into town. There is parking available but it is first come first served so it isn't always possible to get a space.

Parking at the hotel is not guaranteed as it has a small private parking lot. You might have troubles finding parking, because a lot of people park nearby to go to the beach. The place is very windy which is great for surfers and kiters, but might bother you if you are the type to lay near the pool or the beach.

Nice staff and hotel overall. The breakfast was good and it had quite a few options. Hotel is right next to the beach which a lot of people use for surfing/kiting etc. It also has a nice path directly to the city which has a lot of good restaurants.

Some people are claiming beds at the swimming pool starting to put a towel on them at 9 in the morning and then only using them 1 hour in the afternoon. That's to bad. Also some beds were 'reserved' for some friends of the hotel, they then only used them for 15 minutes but like this a lot of beds were taken from morning till evening without usage.

I've been coming here for a few years now and the hotel keeps improving. Great breakfast included in the price, nice swimmingpool but the most perfect thing about the hotel is the superfriendly staff.

The only downside was sub-beds at the pool which had been taken up by surfers, leaving their towels all day. For walkers like ourselves we wouldn’t do that. There should be a policy in the hotel that you can’t keep a bed reserved for more than.an hour.

Hotel was amazing, so much going on around it. Walked into los Abrigos, a lovely fishing village about 5k away. Very comfortable beds, amazing view & fab breakfast. Hotel was so clean 👍

The black sand :-D the winds blow sand around a lot & we were there for the sun, so Suncream plus sand being blown around meant a lot of sand stuck to me at the end of the day! Haha!

I didn't like the extra charge to keep our kitesurf stuffs and also to use the safe you have to pay per day, I never see this in the hotels.

The stuffs were very nice and super friendly. Nice location for those like water sport, ;-) Very clean hotel and amazing food at the restaurant. Very close to the town in 5 min you are there by foot.

Original room was on the 3rd floor, which we didn't like due to the solid balcony, which obviously limited our view.

Various breakfast items ran out and took long to be replenished. Room was warm, had a fan but no airco. Having to pay extra to use the room safe; having to get a TV remote from the reception.

Great location, near beach and boulevard with many restaurants. Nice view from the balcony. Comfortable room, though on the small side, no-frills and sparsely furnished.

2nd visit here. Love being so close to the beach and sea. Nice and quiet spot. Quite a small hotel which means it’s quiet and relaxing. At night we had the patio door open and listened to the waves.

The location is perfect, the breakfast was very good. They have a nice inner yard with pool and restaurant/bar. Would also like to highlight that it was very quiet.

Parties taking place in the pool area by non-residents. One of the parties included guests that got quite heated and angry and we had to ask the hotel staff to intervene and deal with. Breakfast was good, although not all dishes were replenished after 9am. When breakfast is open until 10am, I would expect good availability of all foods throughout.

Excellent location, alongside the beach. The pool area on the whole was quiet and there were enough beds for the residents at the time. That said, it was low season.

Very good for a weeks stay, clean comfortable room. Excellent breakfast. Restaurant was ok- had paella one night. Disappointing very little fish in it and only two mussels and two crevettes - poor. Could do without the rap/ drum and bass music by the pool.
