Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyThere are a few areas that could be improved. Parking is quite limited considering the number of cars, so be prepared for that. Breakfast was not the best, and the sweet options could be better, especially for a 3-star hotel. We also noticed that only one type of soap was provided for both body and hair, which felt a bit basic. We tried the restaurant as well. While the BBQ night was enjoyable, the overall food quality didn’t quite meet our expectations.
We had a lovely stay at Hotel Playa Mondragó, thanks to its truly unbeatable location. You’re spoiled for choice with three stunning beaches: one right in front of the hotel and two others just a 10-minute walk away. The staff were also fantastic; a special shout-out to the receptionist and Yoli, who were incredibly warm and welcoming. We also appreciated the small touches, like the two complimentary bottles of water waiting for us on arrival. We could also use the bathroom on the ground floor to shower, so we had the chance to stay at the beach for the whole morning before leaving. Same for the parking - we could leave our car as well.

SpainMaybe the juices and pastries at breakfast could be of a finer quality.
Located by the beach in the Natural Park, this was a dream stay for nature lovers and artists like us. The hotel is very respectful of the environment and the local heritage.

LuxembourgMy room was on the ground floor not far from the reception. Not ideal but it was ok because it was not that noisy
Proximité de la plage. If you are an early bird then the placement from the hotel next to the beach is perfect. You can get up early and jump right into the sea without any other tourists. The mornings were perfect! Also very clean hotel

TurkeyNothing. everything was perfect. Price was a bit high due to season. We could pay 30% less if we booked the week before.
Hotel is very close the 3 of the best beaches in the island. you can just walk to all of them in 1 to 10 minutes. First night there was barbeque and salsa night so we stayed at the hotel and enjoyed. Staff is really friendly. Breakfast and pool are ok. We didn't even use the pool since the beaches were perfect. In general room was clean, it could be better but it was ok for a 3 days trip. There are several options for transportation but if you would like to discover around, renting a car would be better. At the hotel there are many free parking areas. (Don't park on the street, it is a natural zone.)

United StatesShowers were a little small and cramped. But I am American, so.....
The staff were very accommodating and friendly. They seem to remember everyone at all hours of the day in and out of the hotel. You just can't beat the location with the pool and beach right there, no using the car! Hotel felt boutique and small and not the common over crowded holiday hotel craze all over island. We enjoy the breakfast and ate all our meals onsite.

United KingdomYou have to pay extra for pool / beach towels, and the “half board” option wasn’t well explained to us - confusion from staff over whether we could choose between lunch or dinner, and what was included or not included from the menu. Minor point, but the shampoo/shower gel pump bottle in our bathroom was broken so we had no soap, and this was not fixed even though we asked at reception, so we had to go and buy some soap the next day. Otherwise the stay was very pleasant.
Excellent location by the beautiful Cala Mondragó beach, modern spacious rooms, and nice pool area. Friendly staff. Bus stop outside the hotel made it easy to get to nearby towns without a car. Very peaceful setting in a national park.

United StatesThe rooms were a little sparse and I wish you could dim the lights or there was a nice warm table or accent light. Also we had no balcony light. When you want to just sit sit on the balcony or relax before bed you don't want the lights on full blast. Would be nice if there was a dim light available, but that's minor.
The hotel was very nice. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but a little sparse. As is typical in Europe the queen bed, was two twins pushed together, a little hard, but comfortable. The beach is a 5 min walk from the hotel and since it's in the national park its not as crowded as any of the others. Also there two other beaches you can reach by walking along the cliff trail 5minutes on either side.

United KingdomWhile we really enjoyed our stay, there were a few things that could be improved. The hotel itself is a bit outdated, and that was noticeable in the room and building decor. We also didn’t love the fact that breakfast seating was assigned—each room had a designated table number and you weren’t allowed to choose where to sit, which felt a bit restrictive. Lastly, while the air conditioning did work, it could have been a bit stronger, especially during the warmer parts of the day.
We had a lovely stay at Hotel Playa Mondragó. The staff were incredibly friendly, especially the lady who helped us at breakfast every morning—always smiling, full of energy, and although she was quite strict with the breakfast routine, we absolutely loved her! The location is unbeatable—right on a quiet and beautiful beach within a nature reserve. It felt very safe and peaceful, perfect for relaxing or swimming. Our room was spacious and quiet with a great view of the ocean. While the hotel and rooms are a bit dated, everything was clean and functional. The air conditioning worked fine, though it runs on motion sensors, so the room may be warm when you arrive but cools down quickly. Breakfast was excellent each morning, with a wide variety of choices, and the staff were very accommodating of my dietary needs as I’m currently prepping for a fitness competition. There is no gym on-site, but a gym is available just 10 minutes away and offers weekly passes. Parking was easy with three on-site parking areas, and there’s also roadside parking if needed. The hotel also has a small restaurant/bar for food, drinks, and ice cream, and there’s an elevator in the building for added convenience. All in all, a relaxing and comfortable stay in a truly beautiful location. Would definitely recommend! I will be back!

SwitzerlandThe main flaw we found was the air conditioning in the room, it feels like it doesn’t really work or help much. Our stay was end of June (not yet the hottest months) and also after a full day with the AC on in the evening the room was still quite warm, even warmer than outside. Also at night we eventually found that it was better to leave the window open to at least have some air movement as the AC was not moving much air. We are not complicated people but we found it hard to fall asleep in the evening because of that. The breakfast offer some options but it would be great to have nicer fruit juices that feels more fresh and less industrial, it makes such a big impact to start the day with the right food.
Obviously the mean feature of the hotel is the amazing locations next to the beach which allow you a nice morning and late afternoon swim with a nice siesta in the hotter hours. The hotel is generally clean, with convenient parking for the car, a very nice pool area and a convenient store where to buy everything you need for your beach day. We didn’t had much interactions with the staff but everything was friendly and smooth.

United KingdomThe room décor and furniture didn’t match what was shown online, which was a bit disappointing. On our first night, the shower wasn’t working properly and no staff member could give us the Wi-Fi, which took away from the overall experience. Also, there were no alternative pillow options available, which you'd normally expect at a hotel.
The property is beautifully set among the trees of the National Park, making it perfect for peaceful walks and swims nearby. The views from the room were a lovely mix of beach, nature, and birdlife—very calming. Staff were friendly and the room was cleaned to a high standard every day.

United KingdomThe bay is quiet and secluded which is a huge plus but their is nothing else there apart from a good beach restaurant which closes a 6.
This hotel is situated in a most attractive bay in a quiet area at the end of 5 miles of mostly single track roads. The beach is made of fine clean sand surrounded by rocky hills of the natural park with many walks through it. The hotel is a stones throw from the beach. The hotels seems family run and the friendly staff look after their quests well in the on site restaurant.there is a good sized pool and sun bathing area. One huge advantage of this hotel is the private parking for quests because the single track Road down to the beach is no entry with access to official vehicles and hotel quests.Others have to park at the top of the hill with a 400 yard walk down to the beach. There is a bus service from just outside the hotel about every hour to Cala D’Or . Would I visit this hotel again- yes
