Comfortable stay, the breakfast bar was fantastic.

Old fashioned data set up. No USB ports on plugs. No Netflix on the TV and the TV is only programmed to German with no choice to change. We were in the minority being English.

Great location by the beach and restaurants.

Breakfast and dinner options limited for a 4* hotel, however the quality of the meals was good. Also be careful what type of rooms you book. Mine had zero decent view, possibly because booked via Booking… you need a room with a front seat view to really make a difference.

Location, friendly staff, big spacious rooms. Small but well equipped kitchenette, definitely a plus.

We were required to find dinner outside of the hotel because reservations for dinner were not possible. Also, finding the entry road to the hotel was nearly impossible and confusing. Even our gps did not know what to do.

Handy location and comfortable accommodation but many rooms lacks view and sunny aspect

Kitchenette doesn't have a kettle and fridge lacks freezer compartment(ice). Rooms 201-209 are on rear side of the building so lack any sunshine or view. The prevailing wind also blows in this direction so sitting on the balcony is not comfortable. Pool area on top of building is ok though location means that it will be breezy and , sometimes, too windy to sit out.

Rooms are a good size with comfortable beds, good bathroom and rudimentary kitchen facilities. Breakfast excellent, plenty of choice and good quality/

it was a little beige - both in colour and character. would have liked some pictures on the walls or brighter colours. staff polite but not chatty, food good but a bit dull. we were told pool was heated but it wasn’t- I still swam and enjoyed it but too cold for many. suggest ask for a room on upper floors - a bit dark and overlooked on first floor.

this was a clean and comfortable hotel. Food was fresh and well prepared. nice to have tea-making facilities in the room. Pool was very clean and really nice area around pool. staff were polite. good secure parking.

    Unlikely to stay again

    • Patronising front desk staff • Pool towels too small • Most rooms look out over apartments along side of building - so not sea view • Parking is available, just up the no entry street and no clear signage which makes arrival challenging • No control over a/c - you have to ask reception to change it (temp, air dryness and noise) • No kettle or tea and coffee in room. Drip coffee maker only • “It’s a bit like a hospital room” • Breakfast - middling. Quality of ingredients poor. Inc coffee • “Eco” products in bathroom, but water left in room is Fonteide, in a plastic bottle (reusable glass bottles are available)

Good sized rooms. Staff quickly fixed the issue of twin beds into double. Calera is a nice spot (about 1-2km from other part of Valle Gran Rey)
