The fitness suite was poor with broken equipment

The waiter in the restaurant buffet went out of his way to assist us with selecting foods that catered for our son's dairy allergy including bringing dairy free ice-cream to the table.

--- 🌟 One-week stay in a beachfront apartment — Hotel Pez Espada, Torremolinos In the heart of the Costa del Sol, on the very shores of the Mediterranean Sea, lies the legendary Hotel Pez Espada — a symbol of elegance and timeless style. My stay in a VIP apartment with direct sea views was not just a vacation, but a refined immersion in luxury and tranquility. • 🛌 The apartment offered space, comfort and a sophisticated interior, combining classic aesthetics with modern amenities. • 🌅 The balcony overlooking the sea was my personal refuge — every morning began with a sunrise, and the evenings ended with a glass of wine and the whisper of the waves. • 🍽️ The gastronomy at the hotel was top-notch — from exquisite Mediterranean dishes to signature cocktails in the stylish bar. • 🏖️ The location — direct access to the beach, proximity to the historic center of Torremolinos and easy connection to Malaga and the other treasures of Andalusia. This stay was not just a vacation, but a top-notch experience, where every detail was designed to inspire and leave a lasting impression. 📸

The pool opened quite late, I think at 10 AM, but the sea is just a few steps in front of the hotel. The pool closed at 8 PM, which is a pity—the hotel could improve this a bit, say 8 AM to 9 PM. There’s a gym here that’s actually quite usable, though a minor technical adjustment would make it even better. Still, it’s perfectly usable, which can’t always be said about hotel gyms.

This hotel has style and offers comprehensive services. You can always find something that doesn’t quite fit, but with this hotel, it’s not easy to find any faults. From my perspective, I can definitely recommend it—you won’t regret it. In short: cleanliness, excellent location, great facilities, and the staff were always smiling—which costs nothing. The breakfasts were excellent and definitely worth it. I’m not a fan of animation programs, but live music every evening and sometimes even during dinner was a pleasant bonus. I’d recommend choosing the third floor or higher for the better view.

While the property mostly deserves 5/5 rating for what it has to offer, but mainly the bare minimum service, lack of hospitable ambience, and few other things leave room for improvement First of all service at reseption, bars, and restaurant was just ok. No one was unfriendly, which is great, but there was no effort by staff to make guests feel welcomed and enjoy their holidays. Feeling was that the staff worked there, despite the guests being around. Except cleaning staff, and the personel running the daily entertainment. Absolutely no complaints there. On the reseption every piece of information about available services, restaurant location, timetables, and so on had to be asked separately. Usually it is standard practise to have guests well informed. - No any kind of effort was made to accommodate late checkout. Hotel clearly was not fully booked, but no dedicated area for showering and changing clothes were offered. Policy of not caring too much about the guests was present once again - Pool area toilets had wet and dirty floors all the time. But there are cleaner toilets inside the main building - Drinks at bars were a bit random, and at times just bad watered down, versions of known cocktails

Hotel is at an amazing location right on the beach boulevard with easy access to beach. Tens of restaurants just outside the door, and the Benalmadena Harbour at a walking distance is a must visit for dinner. The pool and other common areas have a relaxed, chill vibe. While it’s not an adults only concept, it was still enjoyably quiet with few kids playing in the pool. Inside of the hotel looks at least as great as in the pictures. No wonder it’s been rewarded for it since the latest refurbish. Breakfast was at least good, if not great. Lots of options, and freshly cooked omelettes were nice. We tried evening dinner once, it was the usual quality for hotel buffet dinner. We highly preferred eating at other restaurants near by. Superior room was spacious and overall very pleasent. Beds were firm but comfortable. Empty minibar could easily fit ample amount of large water bottles. The balconys of shorter building, overlooking pool area have perfect view of the evening entertainment, if that’s your thing. Special mention for the friendly and hard working rooms cleaning staff. Everyday room was spotless, and towels changed.
