The fan in the room was quite noisy 😔 and since that was the only source of cooling, it was a bit hard to relax when it was on ... I missed some protection from mosquitos in the room but not everyone has a problem with that ... The cafeteria has only limited options (for obvious reasons) so one needs to plan for other food arrangements (down the mountain). There is no possibility to keep things cool in the room.

Fabulous location and a special place to stay in!! Staff is kind and the place is very clean and charming because it preserves a unique atmosphere of monastic living.

Just a minor point, but there was no hand soap in the bathroom, which was annoying.

Great views (providing there is no cloud…the property is located so high on a hilltop it will actually be IN the cloud). The room was very basic (exactly as listed) but clean, comfortable and with a good shower. Dinner and breakfast in the on-site restaurant were pretty decent.

It is only suitable for cyclists or hiking, bicycle lovers, very far from the center of the town. There are no lights on the road from the bottom of the mountain to the top of the mountain, so it is more terrifying to walk at night.

Amazing place, a bit more difficult to reach (serpentines), but with a beautiful view of the wheels. We woke up in the morning and enjoyed a romantic sunrise and breakfest (our own) on sunny terrace.

Unlike what is written in the information section, not every room has airconditioning. I always specifically only book rooms with airconditioning. The facility has to change this on their page. The first night was horrible, we didn't sleep because of the heat. Outside was a balcony with clouds of mosquitos, so we couldn't open the window. The next day we bought bugspray and slept with the window open. Then it becomes cool and nice.

The location is perfect. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Room is tidy and not too small. Shower is nice and warm. Beds are good, but too short for tall people. Bring your own shampoo. The bar upstairs is open till 23.00, you can order a late night snack.

As a half board guest I couldn’t understand why we had a set menu for dinner while walk in guests had a choice of three. Wouldn’t it make sense for all to have the same menu?

The Facilities were poor with outdated furnitures. We had our own terrace but no parasol. The price is too high based on facilities. The rooms had a smell of mould and it looked like a water damage occurred recently as the doors looked wet and a humidifier was running.

In a beautiful place on the top of a hill from which you can see almost a half of the island. Quite windy but it is worth the visit. Better to reach if you have a car, due to the long way up (way safe and well keeped). The rooms are simply furnished but really clean. Bathroom in very good conditions. We needed to wake up earlier than breackfast time, so the guys from the hotel prepared us a take away breakfast!
