It had all the charm you could wish for. It was as quaint as the location it is situated in. The staff were warm and welcoming. I unequivocally enjoyed my stay.

There are steps everywhere, but that is the beauty of the city. The bathroom is small but very pretty.

Overall very good. Muesli in addition to granola would be nice. Good choice of fresh fruit and pastries. The only cooked option was hard boiled eggs....some more choice here would be nice.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. I even got an upgrade because I was staying a bit longer. Everything about this place exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect too as it's about 3 minutes walk to the cathedral. Breakfast was fresh, varied and tasty.

It was a little bit warm in my room.

I was very warmly welcomed and offered a shower to refresh while my room was being prepared, that was very nice! Breakfast was also very yummy, and the whole hotel is very charming.

The only things to keep in mind are that the hotel sits at the top of a hill, so the walk back can be a climb and in the summer heat, it can feel quite intense, especially for anyone sensitive to heat or strenuous walking. Also, there’s no air conditioning, though there is a lovely fan in the room. Personally, I prefer fans over A/C and found it more than sufficient, but for travelers who require air conditioning, that’s not available here.

This charming hotel has such a beautiful rustic character, perfectly complementing its picturesque, historic location in the heart of Girona. The host was incredibly kind, accommodating, and personable, and the quality of service was excellent. My room was spotless, with fresh towels, crisp linens, and a level of comfort well above what I expected for a two-star property. The location could not be more perfect...you’re literally steps away from all of the major sites, right outside your door.

Beautiful property located in the heart of the old town. Original features and decor. The room was lovely with a small balcony. The bed was very comfortable and the overhead fan sufficient to keep us cool.

Just a note for future guests, the host recommended Cafe Bistrot for dinner, which wasn't great. I'd go there for a drink only, not dinner.

The building. It’s history and location. The careful decoration and art work. It is like entering into another work and another time. The hotel manager was very kind and thoughtful and took time to carefully explain everything to us. The location is very special with an incredible history. We loved the room and our balcony. The courtyard was a lovely place to have breakfast with Catalan style toast ( homemade and delicious) and fresh orange juice. Everything was perfect for us and we will not forget this beautiful place and the generosity of our hosts.
