Very clean, the elevator was small but still okay! Location was good as there was shops, cafes and metro very close, however it was about a 20-30 minute walk to some of the main sites etc. However, it was cheap so good value for money

Everything was great! The apartment is located in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood, just a short walk from the metro station and the city centrr. The place was cute and very well-maintained. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay! Bonus tip: The owner speaks excellent English, which made communication effortless! Highly recommended, would definitely stay here again!

Would be good to have a kettle inside the room. One of the bathrooms' door unable to lock from the inside. As our room is next to the main entrance leading into the hallway, some people don't really care to close the door in a more gentle manner, sometimes it's kind of irritating with the loud shutting sound from the door.

Room is quite spacious, and very clean. Lighting is adequate. Enough power sockets for use. Wi-Fi is good. There's even a mid-size fridge. Like the room with a street view, not that noisy as long as the windows are closed. The two shared bathrooms along our level are generally clean, with one of them being super spacious. Location is close to a metro station, with a number of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Not really located inside the heart of the city but that's why the cost is lower. All the staff are very friendly and polite, and check-in procedure was easy.

The soundproofing is far from perfect; noises from the hallway can be particularly heard in the bedroom. Nevertheless, the stay remained quite calm.

Could have been a little bigger but I was a solo traveler so ok. Someone seemed to have a habit of making a lot of noise about 6am every morning.

We couldn't access the kitchen. There is a fridge in the room, but having a kettle or coffee machine with a few plates and cutlery would have been nice to have. Wifi is unstable.

The location was very central. It was a five-minute walk to the nearest metro. There are lots of cafes and restaurants along the main street. The room was spacious and very clean. The bed was super comfy. The toilet was clean, and there was good shower pressure. Owner was kind and helpful. Bonus for having a lift in the building.

Everything was perfect. Close to downtown and station. A lot of diferent groceries and bakeries around. Only walls weren’t very soundproof so you can hear other people a little but worth the money.

As with all similar accommodation types, expect a degree of noise from other guests coming in and out. Most guests seemed respectful of this though.

This pensión is exceptionally clean and I loved the provisión of a small fridge. The ensuite bathroom was pleasant with a great shower. The double bed was very comfortable. The manager was welcoming and friendly and the room servicing staff thoughtful (they added a blanket I had used first night to the bed). This accommodation is brilliantly located for all transport links and the street outside (Fernández de los Rios) is relatively quiet for Madrid, with lots of good shops, restaurants and cafés nearby. I would stay again at the rate I paid.

No hair dryer, and I would prefer two more pillows. Both me and my boyfriend prefers to sleep with two pillows each. Other than that, everything was good

The place is noisy but late at night it became quiet and since I was walking all day in the city, I felt easily asleep ,thus at the end it was manageable.

The location is safe with a variety of bars, restaurants, delicatessen, supermarkets. There is a bus station in front of the pension and metro station nearby. The center of the city is 5 metro stations away. The personnel was warm, very polite, willing to help and solve queries. Cleaning services every day is a strong plus!

There are rooms facing different directions into he pension, we happened to get a room facing the road and because of the central location of the building, it was quite loud at times. But for the location and price, worth it.

The host was absolutely wonderful, he was ever so kind in providing what we needed and answering queries/concerns. I would absolutely stay here again, it is great for the price paid. The location is great as well as it is quite close to central.

Great location, clean place and nice staff. However, it wasn't as quiet as we thought based on others reviews as one can easily hear "sounds of life" of the other customers. But no street noises or anything else too disturbing. Very good value for the money.

Sound travels easily so there was always a need to be extra courteous of your neighbors and surroundings. You share walls with other guests who may have different living styles//expectations than you, so you must always be aware.

The location was great and the beds were very comfortable. Javier the host was super kind and accomodating! The bathrooms were also quite nice.

No air conditioning allowed between 11 pm and 7 am, making it uncomfortable for sleeping on summer nights.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Conveniently located in a residential neighborhood near Metro station and shops/restaurants. Friendly hosts and price was great.

In early September it was still very hot and it was hard to sleep at night because of the heat. There was AC in the room but no remote control to turn it on so we couldn’t use it. Can hear noise from the other rooms. There was no shampoo in the shower.

Great location, there are 2 metro stops nearby with easy connections to the center and to the airport. Nice and safe neighborhood, with plenty of bars, restaurants and supermarkets. The host was very friendly. Good value for money overall.
