The place wasn’t clean at all, there were dirty towels in the bathroom and the cleaning lady entered without knocking — which, combined with the see-through bathroom door, felt very uncomfortable. Also, washing clothes and cooking are not allowed, so it’s not ideal for a longer stay

The location is super central — right in the middle of all the main sights — and the staff was very friendl

You need to check in before 7.30pm, which they did highlight prior to our stay, but we only just made it! When you are relying on public transport you never know...

Perfect budget accommodation for one night, you read the reviews and think it could be a disaster but it was absolutely perfect for us. Shared bathroom between about 4 rooms which is absolutely fine, lovely balcony where you could watch the world go by, right in the middle of the old town and a really good price. Clean room, clean towels, hot shower, what's not to like?

It’s very small but still cozy, so it’s alright.

Location is cental old town, shared bathroom option is much better than expected. Huge toilet with good showe and super clean.

The stairs ! Although I knew it was 3rd floor I should have checked the photos more carefully. Had to cancel further booking as it was too difficult.

I didn’t know anything about schedule what time the cleaner comes and how often she cleans. Once she came in without knocking at 8:51 AM in the morning, while I was still in the room.

Location and balcony view! Bathroom with the bath was comfortable and nice! + I enjoyed some extra steps on the stairs. But if you don’t like 4th floor without elevator, it’s not for everyone.

We wouldn’t have stayed there for any length of time because it was just a plain room with no facilities (eg TV) and a shared bathroom.

We only stayed for a few hours before catching a late flight. We didn’t stay overnight. We wanted a relatively inexpensive and centrally located room. Viladomat offers that.

Uncomfortable beds and a shared bathroom

Great location within walking distance to everything of note.

The thing that could be improved is state of towels- they have been used too much times, some of them are heavily ripped. Other thing that might scare some people are the doors to shared bathroom, which have a huge gap under as well as over- maybe thats because of safety reasons, but not for everybody.

Overall our stay for one night was great and we didnt encounter any inconvenices, the location as well as the staff is a huge plus.

Lots of stairs as we were on the 4th floor. It was quite noisy from bells ringing every 15 minutes then on the hour all night, people noise until around midnight, as it was located in the middle of the old city.

The room was very clean, spacious, and had its own bathroom, fridge, in a great location. Staff were very helpful. We were able to check in early, which was a bonus.

It's a pretty old place, and your room is attached to another sort of common room. Nothing was bad, but also I wouldn't call it nice. It was fine. There is no elevator.

It's well located, in the center of Girona. The price is pretty good. I don't have any real complaints, you get what you expect, a simple, no-frills hotel.

The worst part was the bed. It's so hard and the pillow was too high. I used towels instead of it to get at least a bit of sleep. I still woke up with the neck pain.

The location is perfect and shower was pretty decent for such an old place. Everything is clean and well maintained.

It was hot, the fan provided was appreciated but it would’ve benefitted us to have one with some more power.

Central location, perfect for exploring old town. Comfortable and clean bed/bathroom. Easy check in, cleaning staff were friendly. Openable window and balcony was very nice.
