Price a bit steep for the area

Room spacious, everything worked, no dental kit though and the room was costly for no free breakfast. Otherwise everything excellent.

LOVED THIS PLACE !!! I love old buildings- especially when they’ve been restored to the beautiful detail this 16th century palace has been restored to! The entrance, common areas, dining room and the rooms all have the original old stone walls and woodwork along with comfy and elegant newer furnishings. The pool was big and pristine and refreshing after our long Camino walk. The front desk host was eager to help us with anything we asked. The on site restaurant was very convenient since we did want to walk any more that day and there were no restaurants or shops nearby. Is a self contained getaway, which for our mood perfectly!

The breakfast was very disappointing. A basic continental breakfast. The incense sticks that were lit first thing in the morning were quite strong and heavy.

The property was beautiful and peaceful. The swimming pool was incredibly clean if a little chilly but I don’t mind a colder pool. Could have done with a few more sun beds. The staff were friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. Great to have onsite private parking. Food in the restaurant at night was great. Especially the fish dishes. Slept really well at night peaceful and quiet.

It's a little out of town

We liked everything about this hotel--the pool (great on a hot day), the building (lovingly restored), the service (friendly), and the room (large and comfortable)

There were some weddings and first communions being celebrated in the hotel, so the green areas beside the rooms and the pool area weren't very clean nor relaxing for some time. I would have appreciated it if during the booking you explain clearly that the pool will be shared and used for big celebrations and outside guests.

    Beautiful hotel and great service

A bit of a walk out of the way if on the Camino. The adjoining restaurant was disappointing.

After almost two weeks on the Camino, this was an indulgence. I enjoyed the pool. Room was excellent, although better toiletries would have been appreciated. Did not have a good dinner experience (food), but service was good. Good breakfast.

Menue of the day had only two choices of desert .Not mentioned ar the time otherwise we would have gone with the al a carte menue for a better choice Other than that , a good choice of hotel. Would be nice to have a coffee and tea maker in the room.

Quite cool reception at the reception. The breakfast room was rather inhospitable. Unfortunately, breakfast was not included in the price.

The accommodation met my expectations and the price-performance ratio was OK. The room was very spacious and offered a good rest after a busy day.

    All was wonderful.

Everything! The nicest and most interesting place we stayed on the Camino. Formerly a recreational mansion for the bishops of Santiago de Compostela built in the 16th century, the hotel is meticulously updated and maintained. Comfortable rooms, swimming pool, and adjacent restaurant made for a sumptuous overnight stay on the Camino.

If I were to stay here again, I would look for a better restaurant in town. I didn't like the menu so much

A beautiful hotel in a historical building. The atmosphere is perfect. The staff was very nice. The room was big and comfortable. we were on the 3rd floor with a small balcony facing a view of a water fountain. It is about 0.5 kilometers uphill from the old city and the Camino. The hotel has a restaurant for dinner if you are too tired to go to the old city. The breakfast was very good. The dining room is in the original historical kitchen.
