Late dinner specially for camino tourist.

Comfortable, beautiful hotel which was designed to local castle architecture. Pool was very clean and suitable for swimming which is very refreshing during camino tour. Very nice cafe/snack bar outside with terrace and polite waiter. The most comfortable bad during camino tour. Breakfast exceeded my expectations.

Room was a bit small compared with other paradores we’ve stayed at. We had everything we needed, but shows some signs of age

Beautiful location overlooking the river, clean, friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Great stopping point between Santiago and Porto where we were flying from. We enjoyed drinks on the terrace while admiring the view. It’s located very close to the highway and has easy access to the pretty historic center with cathedral and restaurants, via a pedestrian path along the river.

A little too expensive when comparing with other 4 stars hotels that we stay along our pilgrimage journey.

Our luggages were already place in our room before readiness of our room. As u can imagine, we were already very tired after the long walking journey and this little gesture from the hotel is very much appreciated. The location is not exactly in the old city but if you are a pilgrim, this hotel is just along the track after the border bridge with Valença (Portugal).

Location is at the start of the Camino in tui. If you want to explore the centre you will have to walk back and forth. However if you stay there for another purpose, it would be a nice and comfy stay.

Nice views of the river and very near to the international bridge. Staff are nice. Rooms has character.

Not being able to eat in Restaurant until 8.30pm ....onwards. Breakfast @ 17E + tax a little expensive.

Loved the building & style of the hotel. Standard Double Bedroom was spacious with lovely bathroom, comfy & warm on the ground floor so easy access. (Though very dark & shady sitting out area for summer). Staff were very welcoming & friendly (albeit limited English). Limited views over the river back to Portugal. Easy access on way into Tuy. Bar/cafeteria was open on arrival with friendly service. Interesting but limited menu in restaurant probably because it was winter & not very busy. Would visit again if in area.

What a magnificent stay we had, the staff were all so welcoming and friendly. The room was so large, clean and quiet. The bed so comfortable. Shower hot with great pressure. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. The cafe lunches and restaurant meal were delicious and the service from Helena was outstanding. Her knowledge of the menu and wines was so helpful in choosing our meals. Thank you so much.

It’s a beautiful historical property on top of the hill and very clean too, breakfast was good. Since we wanted to go early for our Camino walk, and couldn’t make it for breakfast, each of us was given a breakfast loot bag complete with fruits, yogurt, cheese etc.
