Food service, in both the bar and at breakfast was very slow. This is most definitely not a criticism of the staff as they were working very hard. The problem is that there are insufficient staff in both locations.

Thr room was very spacious, as was the bathroom and terrace. The pool is fantastic.

Many people wouldn't like the fact that it's right underneath the flight path out of Malaga airport. But you get used to it very quickly and the planes don't fly at night as far as I can tell.

One can eat a light meal at the bar and it was very good and very plentiful. It's very close to the airport which suited me as I only needed a quick overnight stay after business elsewhere.

Lovely room and a very good and plentiful buffet breakfast - ideal for our needs which was for one night after arriving at Malaga airport too late to drive on to Ronda in the light. The bed was comfy and all clean and as you would expect from a Parador. We had something to eat and drink in the bar which was also good but didn't use any other facilities so cannot comment. The planes are noisy but that's to be expected for a property next to the airport!

Amenities in the room need replacing more regularly (shampoo, conditioner, coffees etc.) and sofa in lounge not very comfortable, however not a huge problem as more time was spent outside

Great hotel for a relaxing golf holiday, swimming pool and private access to the beach a huge plus after a morning of golf! Fantastic food at the hotel, lovely seafood restaurants close by on the beach and a short taxi ride into Malaga city centre. Staff were great and very welcoming

I liked everything

Large size suite with a balcony facing green grass land & the Sea. The room was very neat & clean with all amenities. Food was very good. The hotel has direct access to a beautiful sea beach with a restaurant & bar with fresh grilled sea fish. The hotel has a large Golf area within the hotel premises. One can reach the Airport and the market area within 15 minutes by taxi.

Insects.

Being close to the airport, the location was convenient for us. The rooms are ok but a bit dated. We only stayed one night and didn't eat at the hotel but went into town on the train to get dinner. The station is about a 10 min walk. On arrival back to the hotel room late at night we found a stack of little flying insects. No matter how many we killed they kept coming out of nowhere. We eventually changed rooms to the other side of the property only to find moths and other types of flying insects in the room. For the price we paid, we weren't too happy. Breakfast was good.

No pool or playground for kids. No gym or spa. Someone took my baby’s toy it disappeared. Food wasn’t excellent but it was ok.

The noise from the nearby airport is intrusive, particularly late at night and early morning. It would be nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but there is a cafe/bar serving food and drinks.

The staff are really helpful and professional, the rooms are a good size, and the location near the sea and Plaza Mayor shopping centre and station is really good.

Pool does not open till May 16th - while tourist season starts at Easter. This should be rectified - thankfully I sea swim in Ireland from April so walked to the beached in front. Some very loud planes overhead do not stop till midnight - but seen to be fewer after 10pm

Immaculately maintained; spacious and airy feeling, this 4 star is a proper 4 star with huge bathroom. Staff are super helpful and professional - obviously proud of their positions working for Paradores.es. Fresh fish at the bar was surprisingly good, and my sea swim was the perfect antidote to a ling drive from Campo de Gibraltar

Nothing really to dislike.

We stayed for a night, because we were arriving quite late at the nearby airport and didnt want to travel too far too quickly. The hotel was modern, comfortable and gave us all we needed. Although it is under the airport's flight path, the sound-proofing of the hotel (rooms and public areas) is excellent. I'd happily stay here again in the same circumstances.

My room had probably been updated in the late nineties/early 2000s, it was a little dated but everything was functional and super clean

Our room had bugs from the weather/rain that came through which made us end up needing to change rooms.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The staff helped us change rooms and also get a third bed for our third person.
