How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Only a couple of beers, nothing international, Heineken, guinness, grolsch, budweiser etc. Just local. Very, very basic in that respect.

We took the half board option and the evening meal didn't aleays live up to expectations compared with the rest of the stay.
Clean spacious room, large bed. Pleasant outlook. Staff very friendly. No problem parking. Large pool on nice grounds.

It would perhaps have been better to have had a bedroom above the ground floor.

See above re the bar meal.
On arrival the welcome from the staff was lovely and everything was explained to us really well. Our room certainly met our expectations and was very comfortable. The breakfast choice was excellent but we found the meals available at the bar were a little uninspiring in presentation. We didn't have half-board so cannot comment if the same meal option would have been better in the restaurant.

There was no kettle in the room to make a cup of tea/coffee.
The King size room was beautiful and immaculately clean. The bed was very comfortable, firm but not hard. There were two lovely chairs and a little table in the room which was a nice touch. The outside balcony was lovely to sit on and we could admire the pool view. There was a mini fridge/bar in the room which was useful and room service for food. The en suite bathroom was super clean. Staff were friendly, warm and welcoming. We loved our stay here and highly recommend it to others.

The food, excepting breakfast, was very nice but a bit expensive for such kind of meal.
A perfect place to spend some quite peaceful days. Atmosphere was very calm, practically no children and with easy access to nearby cities. Breakfast was diverse and the room was well cleaned. Room cleaning also works pretty well.

It’s a little bit more out of town than I appreciated. Possibly a shuttle bus service 2-4 times a day into El Rompido would be useful. El Rompido a delightful friendly town- with a great range of bars, restaurants and brilliant pharmacy! We did walk on the beach to the town a few times but not after dark.

Excellent hotel in a great location near a beautiful beach. The bedroom was spotlessly clean as was the whole hotel and grounds. The pool area was very relaxing and a beautiful sandy beach just a five minute walk away. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food on offer was excellent. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxing break.

The gym is very small and lacking. 4 people inside is already a crowd. The rooms could do with a kettle or coffee machine
The pool surrounded by trees was very good. The restaurant also serves a great dinner. The rooms are big.

The bedroom has a strange smelling that has to be treated. The hotel must revise the smoking areas. The smoking area is on the best spot of the hotel where people are having dinner. Only 5 or 6 tables. The hotel has big outdoor areas that can be used for that purpose without troubling other guests.

The cleanliness of the room could be improved. When we first arrived the room had some dust and lint on the floor.

The roof top make wood noises at night. The coffee machine at breakfast is offering cheap ciffe without flavour.

TRAVELLING SOLO, IT WOULD BE NICE FOR THERE TO BE SOME SPACES SET UP , WHICH ACCOMMODATE A COMFORT WITH THIS.
I WOULD HAVE LOVED A QUIETER VIEW OUT LOOK, BUT EXCELLENT. POOL WAS SMALL AND LOVELY. ROOM WAS EXCELLENT, COULD HAVE HAD MORE HOOKS! AND EASIER USE OF AIR CONDITIONING, ACCESS, PERHAPS TO REFILLS FOR WATER - HOT & COLD. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE AT THE OUTSET, TO UNDERSTAND WHERE I COULD WALK ON THE PROPERTY ETC., BUT I COULD ALWAYS ASK, JUST A THOUGHT TO FEEL MORE COMFORTABLE.
