A great place to stay after our pilgrimage. It was clean and central, comfy beds and had air conditioning. We appreciated the supplies in the kitchen - coffee pods, orange juice and muffins. The option of breakfast downstairs looked good.

Best accommodation we’ve stayed in during all of our month long Camino. Beautifully furnished, super clean, huge room and bathroom, TV with Netflix, coffee machine and they left us orange juice and two muffins so we could even have a small breakfast in the room. Quiet room at the back of the building with view of a cozy square and a big tree, and even the cathedral if you looked out the window. And this all at a great value for money in the heart of the city centre, just a few steps from the cathedral.

After walking the Camino, Hostel Nomad was the perfect place to land in Santiago. Tucked just a short walk from the cathedral, it offered a peaceful, private space to rest and reflect after the long journey. Everything is done via WhatsApp, so while you don’t meet the staff in person, they are incredibly helpful, kind, and responsive. Check-in was smooth, any questions were answered quickly, and I felt genuinely supported throughout my stay. The rooms are clean, modern, well equipped, comfortable and quiet-ideal for a pilgrim looking to unwind without the bustle of a busy Albergue . It felt like a calm retreat after weeks on the road, with just the right balance of independence and care. You might be a little confused when you arrive as we were, because the rooms are above a small bespoke restaurant (seats maybe 12) and you walk through it to access a winding staircase to your rooms. Everything is code orientated and it’s texted to you the day you arrive. I love the windows onto ‘the winding alleys’ below which all lead to the cathedral. It’s lovely to wake up after a long walk (I stayed three nights) and look out and call to pilgrims and see the bustle of the people below. Surprisingly, the restaurant below is only open a few nights a week and the food is exceptional, made fresh to order by one chef and is dependent on what they have that’s organically supplied by locals. One would also think that because of its location (maybe four minutes from the cathedral but you can’t see it), it would be noisy. Not at all. I highly recommend Hostel Nomad to anyone finishing their Camino who’s looking for a thoughtful, quiet space to rest. Even without face-to-face contact, the warmth still comes through.

Nothing - was excellent overall. Only thing to deal with is access as it is in a pedestrian zone so need to carry bags a few hundred meters...but very small inconvenience and unavoidable

Really nice and spacious room that has been renovated to high standards. Lots of space. Great bathroom. Large bed. Nice views. Fridge + snack facilities. Very comfortable and welcoming place to stay right in the middle of the main restuarant street in old town. Was not expecting it to be so nice - highly recommend as a place to stay.

The complimentary coffee pods in the room weren't very good. Better to take the mint tea or have your morning coffee elsewhere in town.

Had to enter through the restaurant/bar. Was a little noisy if facing the street. Required internet to get entry codes and to know if the room was ready. A little difficult if only relying on wifi.

Central location in the old town. Very close to the Cathedral. Good sized room with extra touches such as muffin and juice in room for breakfast. Also had a kettle. Very clean and comfortable.

Exactly what we expected and gaining access via codes provided was very straightforward despite arriving very late at night. Lovely coffee, and orange juice, water and a small muffin left for breakfast. Decor is charming and bathroom great. Location was right in the old town and a 15 minute walk to the bus station.

This was my 6th time in Santiago, and I’ve stayed at various hotels in the old town after walking the Camiño - but this one is the best! It’s incredibly central, yet surprisingly quiet after midnight. The room had air conditioning, which I really appreciated since it was quite chilly during my stay. I loved the minimalistic yet comfortable interior, the perfect location, smooth communication, and the thoughtful touch of umbrellas available to borrow. Highly recommend.

The staff were very helpful. I lost a personal item and although they weren't able to find it they were extremely helpful and communicative in trying. The hotel is very central in a lovely part of Santiago, above a nice restaurant. I liked the PIN code check in.
