How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We have been here plenty of times before but something has changed. Before because we use the hotel a lot, now and then we got a free upgrade to a bigger room etc. but now we seem to get the opposite, a few times we have been moved to smaller which gets me thinking our room has been taking by spanish and we get moved because we are not. I know this because we get moved to a room with only one housecoat so this tells me this room was not for us originally . We are two people. This has happened twice. Is it new managers..i dont know. But it is not the same service as we had before. We may try other hotels in future

There was no coffee machine in the room. Our rooms looked to the internal yard.
The staff was nice. Breakfast was very good, fresh cheesecake was served among others.

Taking stairs to go to the elevators to go tonrhe rooms. There was no ramp, and with a 50lbs or 22kg weight luggage was kind of hectic, also for my father in law which is 89 and with luggage, was also kind of digfficult.

Only one thing, but it was quite a problem. Despite the extreme quietness of the location, the walls are very thin. My neighbours were not noisy or inconsiderate, but even quite small sounds in their room came into mine. A shame, because this was the only blemish in an otherwise delightful stay.
Perfect location, very modern, very clean and the room I had had no outside noise coming in at all. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff and a good breakfast.

Shower is in the bath and it was quite slippery the first night. Complimentary water but no bottle opener in room. Quite expensive.
Large suite, comfortable bed, good breakfast, complimentary biscuits, great location in old town and near Cathedral. Room service from restaurant across the road.

One of the rooms has a bit of a drain smell and bad light tunnel view. Rooms were too hot, we had to open windows to let heat escape since it couldn’t be adjusted.

I know it was a busy night, but very noisy in above rooms, and some pretty loud street noise from 1-5 am, as there's a nightclub around the corner.
Nice motel, we were there for theThree Kings parade and it was a perfect location. Nice and clean and tidy, very comfortable

Breakfast was good but not great; same selections every day. Made eggs and omelets not as good as other places. I think showers are a little small for bigger people.

Two things: the total lack of decor in the rooms made it feel very cold and functional - not a single picture, design, anything on the walls so it felt very stark! Also staff were “functional” - no welcome, warmth, chat, just check in and check out. Asked for a couple of things from reception which never turned up.
Booked a Junior Suite and it was actually two spaces - a bedroom and separate lounge room, so space was good. Bathroom also spacious and very well equipped (eg his-and-hers sinks). Top floor room was very quiet. Location can’t be bettered. Overall, very happy as a base for a couple of nights.

This is a very central hotel in Oviedo and offers discount on underground parking within a very short walk from the hotel. Between the two is one of the best delicatessens we have ever visited (Confiteria Rialto café), with good coffee and wonderful croissant, cakes and sweets. Oviedo is a small walkable city and everything we wanted to see - including the gardens, the cathedral, and the art museum - was a short walk from the hotel.
