Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SingaporeLift was little bit slower than I would expect, but as the hotel is in the first floor (second floor if you are American and believe, that even the ground is counted as floor), it's manageable.
I. Have you ever met personnel who look like they are hating their job? So you won't meet them here. I saw smile faces all day and was met just with kindness and willingness to help us and recommend to "must see things". II. The room and room service, new towels every day, bed prepared. Room is nicely design. Nicely, I was crying when I returned home and it didn't look so nice as there. III. Location, it's 15 minutes of walk to Science City, 15/20minutes to the beaches by bus, 10 minutes to centre (by bus), and bus stop is just across the street.

PortugalThe room design, cleanliness and staff were the high points of this hotel. It also has very few rooms (only 1 floor) so it's a more private experience.

ThailandBring key card with codes to access lift or open gate as the gates be can closed as early as 830pm.
Good location, friendly staff, nice room, breakfast ok. Bus 92 outside hotel takes you to the beach directly in 15 minutes. Bus 4 and 92 going into the city is 150m away. But need to buy Valencia Tourist card at 25 euro's for 72 hours or Suma AB zones 72 hours for 12 euro's which is quite difficult as VT only on sale in 4 places, Suma I had to go to Metro Station with long queue.

RomaniaThe fact that it doesn’t have balcony, but it compensates through all others.
Extremely spacious room with huge smart tv, super clean and in a perfect area to move around the city carefree. Breakfast is not of huge variety, but it’s really nice and the staff is lovely and helpful.

One of the best places I've been to recently. It's a new place with exceptional interior design. Room was big, bathroom even bigger. Very clean, with all the little things you need. The staff were amazing. I would recommend this place to everyone.

GermanyAbsolutely wonderful place! I highly recommend this hotel as one's accommodation in Valencia because it meets all the imaginable criteria you might have: affordable, not far from the city center, very clean, spacious, friendly and kind staff, stylish, you name it. The hotel team is doing amazing job keeping the place in a great conditions, very neat, very clean. There is nothing I can possibly mention as a disadvantage, that's a perfect place for your trip!

SwitzerlandMissing a kettle in the room, which could be useful. Reception staff were friendly, though not much helpful when it came to requests or local tips. We did not feel welcomed to ask questions.
The room was very clean, spacious, and very quiet. Great location with easy bus access to different parts of the city.

United KingdomThe bedding was had a stain which apparently can’t be washed out. Wish it was newer. A shelf right above the bed is a bad idea: you can’t really seat in the bed. I hit my head twice on the first day and had to be extra careful all the following days (and I am 5’2). The plug is also located above the bed: one needs a long cable to charge. The emergency light is right above the bed and very bright. If you like total dark, then get a blindfold. The air conditioner is blowing right at the bed (it wasn’t hot, so I didn’t use it, but would really mind direct blow if I needed to use it).
The hotel is small and occupies one floor. It has a great location for the City of Arts and Sciences with Oceanografic (12 min walk). Lots of supermarkets near by and a metro 10 minutes walk. Historic centre is a bit further (40 minutes walk), but at least two buses going from/to the city centre stop near the hotel (number 4 stops right by the hotel). The beach is also reachable by bus. The rooms are newly refurbished and clean. The mattress is ok. The walk in rain shower is amazing! The water pressure is great and shower is very spacious. The room has double glazing, so little noise comes from the road outside. The staff is really friendly and ready to answer any questions you have. There is a minibar which I used as a fridge for my own stuff. There is free filtered water supply. I didn’t take breakfast, so can’t comment on it.

BelgiumThe location is nice, between the beach and the city centre you can go to either of them on foot in 30min or by bus. Cabs are also cheap, approximately 6-10 EUR. The staff is amazingly friendly and easy to communicate with. They clean everyday. The room is spacious, has every amenities that you need.

SpainUnfortunately the owners of the hotel did not think to properly sound-proof the rooms. It would be fine if my neighbours weren't loud, drunk, annoying tourists, but they were, and kept me up until the early hours.
The staff were exceptional. Very conscientious, caring, communicative professionals. They were very happy to let me stay on the next day in the cafeteria to work.

United KingdomThe weather, but no one has control of that 🤣 Nothing that we would have changed.
The hotel was easy to reach using the metro (about 10 min walk from metro station) and it took approx 20 mins to get to the historic centre using the metro. The staff were extremely helpful and all spoke good English. The breakfast was continental style and self service. Room was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable. Mini bar prices were reasonable.

UkraineThe only downsides were the frosted windows facing the building’s roof and a bright green light above the bed that was annoying at night.
Great location in a quiet area near the metro and supermarkets. The staff was very polite and always smiling, and the breakfast was excellent.😋 FYI the hotel requires a €50 deposit, which is refunded at checkout if the minibar is unused and the room is in good condition.
