How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

No air conditioning but reception manager, Alberto quickly arranged a large fan for our room and that made a huge difference to our comfort, thank you Alberto.
Superb location, staff so very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble, spacious room, comfy beds, good shower, lovely towels, everything very clean. We cannot comment on the breakfast as we chose not to have this included but judging by the general high standards of this hotel, it is undoubtedly very good.

Our room had slanted low ceiling on 1 side, so I wouldn’t recommend this specific room if you are tall :) Eggs for breakfast would be a nice added option.
Very clean, comfy bed, our room had a lovely view of the mountain. Staff was very helpful, the location was convenient to restaurants as well as near hiking trails. Plenty of parking nearby.

Our loft room was quite hot, due to the weather.. I asked for a fan & one was delivered to my room by the time I returned later- fabulous service
Great location for us, short stroll to catch the bus into Picos National park & bus back to Llanes. Amazing staff, family feel, super knowledgeable & everything I asked for was offered with a smile, great service.

Lovely room and very clean. Good location with plenty of restaurants and bars. We left early so didnt try the breakfast which was €11. Receptionist spoke excellent English

The view from the corner room was fabulous! Seeing the mountains from your bed is amazing. Staff was great and swiftly resolved a small issue. Breakfast had quite a lot of choice.

We loved the view and the location nearby some amazing hiking routes. Also, hotel staff was very attentive and helpful and always up for a little laugh along the way :) It was a great place to be getting back to from a long hike ;)

Had all the basic necessities, hot water, good ventilation from windows, nice views of the town, and most of all the receptionist was very kind and was not bothered to spend quite some time with us recommending restaurants and places to visit during our stay

I would only mention (for light sleepers) that the walls aren't soundproof (they are a little thin), so you can sometimes hear your fellow travellers.
We had a lovely stay in Las Arenas. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly; they provided us with lots of recommendations and answered any questions we had. We had a room with views of the picos through the bathroom window, which was stunning. There was free parking and easy access to all the amenities in town. The hotel was also very close to lots of hiking routes, with a bus service nearby.
