How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewFriendly staff, beautiful rooms and yummy breakfast. Particular thanks to the chef that’s making scrambled eggs! The spa was also nice but if you prefer privacy, know that it overlooks the beach so people are passing by.

This was by far the worst hotel experience we have ever had. We had booked 7 double rooms here, expecting at least basic hospitality, but what we encountered was shocking. It started already at check-in. The receptionist — a lady with glasses — was hostile, spoke down to us, and acted in a rude and dismissive way. The experience was so unpleasant that we tried to avoid her throughout our stay. She wouldn’t even tell us who the real manager was when we asked. The situation escalated when we politely asked if the air conditioning in the waiting area could be switched on. Instead of responding professionally, the receptionist reacted with arrogance and hostility. When we then asked again to speak with the manager, a man in a helmet suddenly appeared, directly threatened us to leave the hotel, and behaved in an aggressive, almost mafia-like manner. We later found out he wasn’t even the manager, just a friend of the receptionist. This was not only disrespectful but frightening. Our parents, who are over 65 years old, were with us and were genuinely scared by the aggression and intimidation. No guest — let alone elderly ones — should ever feel unsafe in a hotel. We have traveled to over 40 countries and stayed in countless hotels worldwide, but never have we experienced behavior this unprofessional, disrespectful, and unsafe. ⚠️ For your own safety, and for the safety of your family, never consider this hotel.
Dear Guests, We are truly sorry that your perception of your stay at our hotel was not a positive one. However, it is important to clarify certain points in order to provide a more complete view of what happened. From the very beginning, one member of your group displayed inappropriate behavior towards our staff, with disrespectful attitudes and offensive comments. There was even an incident in which a piece of paper was thrown at the receptionist, which we consider a serious and unacceptable lack of respect. Our team is always willing to assist and attend to the needs of our guests, but we must also ensure respect and safety for our employees. We understand that differences or misunderstandings can sometimes occur, but we firmly believe that communication should always be based on mutual respect. Our staff works hard every day to provide a cordial and professional service, and we regret that this isolated situation does not reflect the experience that the vast majority of our guests enjoy.

Verified reviewBreakfast and dinner buffet are good. The restaurant staff was amazing and kind. The sea view from the last floor was amazing.
The air conditioning did not work properly for the whole night. There were over 35 degrees outside during the morning and at night we were melting inside room. The air outside was fresher than our room so we stayed on the balcony. I called the reception and they told me to make sure the window was properly closed, which was but at 1am at night not much you can do. The next day they told us they had an issue with the AC machine. They said they were sorry but we were with a baby of 1.5 years old that was sweating the whole night and did not sleep (we too) so "sorry" is not enough. For a 250€/night 4 stars hotel, I would expect a much better service and treatment. In addition, the AC only works when the key card is inserted in the key holder pocket inside the room. This means that if you go to the beach and you come back, the room is an oven. The next day we had the SPA included, but there was not real ventilation (just a window open) and you can feel the air was very hot (40 degrees outside). Last but not least we were on the last floor and also with the window fully closed you can hear the music from the bar at midnight, so maybe the rooms also need better windows too.

Hotel is very dated. I would not classify it as 4 star. Towels were very thin. Cleaning could be improved. There was tons of dust under the bed (clear they don't vacuum/mop thoroughly. Parking is 16 Eur, 200m in a separate outdoor car park. The carpark is access by a key to a lock. The gate is difficult to open. We relied on another guest assisting us.

The equipment in the spa was not operational. Only one water jet was working. Others ones was not but the worst is that in that period August. Only one water jet work for the whole people... The sauna was not hot at all. So not functional. They mention that the parking was included but in place, you have to pay a parking and it's too far from.the hotel. The quality of breakfast was not good. Only coffee and milk was proposed not cappuccino or other drinks. Orange juice was industrial, beans and pastries too...

Verified reviewI really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff was super kind and helpful with booking the spa and the parking with electric charger for our EV. Special shout-out for Miquel (with a q for queso), spectacular vibe. Roses was such a nice surprise overall, super clean and super relaxed ambience. True, most people we saw were of advanced age, I don’t want to say elderly because they were truly vivacious and graceful, I loved to see them enjoying life. Will definitely go back.
The only reason I don’t give it 5 starts is because the shower was not great, very low pressure and almost no water coming from it. The hand piece was better but I wanted to wash my hair and needed both hands for that.

Verified reviewHotel is descent - good location, close to the beach, restaurants and boats excursions. Rooms are very small, good view, but not enough space to keep your stuff. Safe is extra charge - need to buy a big lock on reception. But all drinks in refrigerator are free of charge.
Breakfast buffet is pretty poor. Mostly eggs, ham and cheese. One type of cereal, no oatmeal or cottage cheese. Small rooms, not enough drawers or shelves.

Towels changed when not needed or requested. Alcohol portions too big! In fact, really, no complaints. We will be returning.
