Neighbourhood not really neat, thin walls

Very nice and helpful host, good communication, room was nice and cleaned daily. Location close to buses & metro (-> few minutes to downtown), free parking in the streets around (might be tricky to find a spot sometimes).

The bathroom sink is super small.

The room was really clean and smelled wonderful. Location close to subway and bus. A little rug on both sides of the bed, so you didn't step directly on the cold floor. There was a water heater, tea and coffee, as well as bottled water. The room was cleaned and tidied up every day. Hosts were helpful and answered all questions really fast.

There was no iron, which we really needed. Also, the Wi-Fi was weak at times, so if you need it for work, it can be problematic.

The host allowed us to check in much earlier. They also gave us a fan because it was very hot. The room was cleaned every day. The hospitality was excellent.

A little bit cold for us For a more confortable stay we think that a frigde and an air conditioner it will be a plus.

Close to metro, line 1 - direct access to the city center. The building is located in a quite neighbourhood, close to restaurant and shop. The host was friendly and helpful even if we checked-in at 1 AM. He offered us 2 bottle of water. We really appreciated the daily cleaning and every day we had tea, coffee and biscuit. The room was modern, very clean and spatious.

Nice and clean studio, ideal for solo travelers or a couple. I stayed for 4 days and everything was perfect. Good value for money. It's in the quiet area, 6-7mins from metro station. Supermarkets and bars are nearby.

Surroundings seemed to be suspicious, but I didn't experience any problems. Style and arrangment of bathroom were acceptable for me, but for more demanding people could be below par.

We couldn’t thank Óscar and his wife enough, they let us keep insulin (medicine) in their fridge so it wouldn’t get too hot, leave our bags there all day when we had a late night flight home and even when our flight got cancelled last minute, they offered us the other room to stay. Both rooms were lovely and well equipped, comfy beds, nice modern bathrooms and showers, working fans and complimentary tea and coffee which they refreshed each day. They even brought us fresh bottles of water every day. Super clean and hygienic, fresh towels and bedding after 2/3 days. Location was great, easy to get around and we felt safe in the neighbourhood we were in. Óscar had recommended some nice places nearby and advised us on how to get into the centre. Unfortunately when we visited, the metro 1 line was closed at the nearby station which made it a bit trickier to get in, but with Óscar’s advice we got the free bus service with ease. Incredible value for money and we would definitely come back.

The walls are quite thin, I guess, because we could hear other guests leave in the morning and come back during the day. The room entrance door is right near the stairwell, so I guess it's something more difficult to improve, considering some guests are noisier than others. During the weekend, you could hear the neighbors having parties, doing housework and repairs and listening to local music from early in the morning. It's not necessarily something the owner can remedy, but consider than when booking, as it may happen. You rarely find parking on the street in front of the location, but you may find parking on neighboring streets. Parking was free in the area when we were there. Get a hairdryer, if it's something you need, because it is not provided. The Wi-fi was patchy, we could only use it in some areas of the room (closer to the door and near the wall neighboring the staircase), unfortunately.

We were received later at night because we had a flight delay, but the owner managed to accommodate us. He greeted us with some water, and gave us a map with local places to see and eat at which we found really helpful in the following days. AND we had complimentary biscuits and instant coffee throughout our stay, which we very much enjoyed, thank you! The bed was really comfortable, we slept really well. There was a fan there, but we didn't use it because it wasn't very hot during our stay. The bathroom was equipped with the basics we needed during our stay - soap, shower gel, shampoo. The location is quiet enough from large streets, so you get less constant noise from cars and the such, unlike in the city center, where there is much more noise at night. There are shops and bars nearby, with a few restaurants within walking distance. We recommend La Bombonera de Vallekas, a place that stays open until late in the night, if you like rock music and a more eccentric atmosphere, with cheap, but tasty local beers and food.

Good host, he answered all questions about city and hostel . Great location , do not hesitate for renting. It's so close to the Portazgo metro station . This metro line is going to impontart places like Plaza de Sol, Gran via , Atocha train station . You can arrive easily from airport also.
