Carolina prepared a wonderful fish dinner. Simon showed us the renovations to the property. They had cold beers after a long Camino hike. Ocean views were amazing.

It’s quite uphill and secluded (no shop around), but not necessarily a problem if you only stay one night

Everything! A unique place in the middle of nowhere, so well designed, very quiet and the most wonderful sunset. The view is unbeatable. The host couldn’t be friendlier, she prepared a dinner which was exactly what I needed after a long walking day.

It was not so easy to find the entrance but neighbours were helpful in redirecting to the right place.

I felt like staying in the house of an aunt. The stone house is lovely and the room was modernly equipped and very comfortable. The views from the terrace were amazing, definitely worth the walk.

It is a strenuous and steep uphill hike (20-25 minutes) outside of Oia (and away from the Camino) to reach the house —once you are there, you likely won’t want to go back to town.

The proprietess is above-and-beyond hospitable and helpful, and is very thoughtful in making one’s stay pleasant and comfortable. There’s a lovely area in the yard with ocean views to relax (which is great, as it is a small property without a lot of common space).

We stayed here while hiking the Camino on my friend’s bday. Carolina and her sister were so accommodating and couldn’t have been friendlier. They greeted us with a glass of wine while showing us the property. They made us an incredible dinner and even came out with cake and candle for the birthday girl. There is an amazing view of the sunset over the water and they had breakfast ready for us before our departure. It was so worth being out of the center of town and experiencing the true local culture on such a short stay. Thank you Carolina for the amazing experience!!!

Amazing hosts that went above and beyond. Dinner, breakfast, drinks, they organized it all. The views are amazing and the rooms perfect with a very comfy bed. A short hike up the hill from the Camino but highly recommended to make the effort.

Very warm and friendly owner who live on premises. Beautiful country location that is rustic on the outside and comfortable and contemporary on the inside. Gorgeous view of ocean from room window, awesome bed! Coffee, tea, cake, nice bath products all provided gratis. Option for breakfast or 20 min walk to tienda.

I stayed at the place because it was on my Camino without any expectations. But it turned out my happiest moment and stay through all the way. The hosts are just such a lovely and friendly people. I really feel like home. House is decorated with so much love in every detail. And that view to the ocean from the room is just stunning. Nothing at all, the place is amazing!

I absolutely loved this place! Every little detail is thought though and the view out of the window is absolutely breathtaking! There were fruits, coffee, teas and even cake to enjoy and I felt like at home. The hosts supported me with everything I needed. The place is very close to the camino itself (just to go down to the coast) Be aware that to come to the place you will need to go up to the steep hill. But once you are there, it’s absolutely worth it. There is no supermarket close but there is a cafeteria and fruit place as well as pharmacy close to it where you can buy everything necessary I wish I could come back one day! 🥰😍

I had to climb up hill for 20 minutes to reach the accommodation, but it’s still worth it.

The room was renovated with sea view. The hospitality from the owner was warm and thoughtful. They provided a huge portion of home cooked dinner with very good price.

It's located in a quaint little village along the coast...I believe the host is a 5th generation owner of the property which they have renovated & furnished meticulously so it has a feeling of coming "home"...the host is a very good cook so you just have to let her know if you desire a meal- I didn't realize this so I had my own food which I prepared in the well-equipped/stocked kitchen....

Nothing. To get the charm of a village house, you won't be in the middle of town.

The stay was exceptional. It combined the best of a guest stay and being in the home of a family friend. We were welcomed, but all the amenities were provided. Carolina and Simon were wonderful hosts and could not have been kinder. They clearly have given all aspects of hosting careful thought, from the food, to the laundry, to all aspects of the room. I highly recommend. Walking up the hill at the end of a long day was daunting and we were easily able to find a taxi at the monastery.
