Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Cheap Hotel, about 200m from the beach. It has seen better days, byt it has kind of style nonetheless. Price/Perfomance ratio is great. Helpful staff

United KingdomThe only downside is that there's no lift.
A great little place, small and quiet. It is self-contained within its own compound, including private pool, inner courtyard and private parking. The staff were very friendly. The location is excellent for access to the beach and local restaurants, but also easy to get to by car.

GibraltarRooms need an upkeep. The bath had some old brown stains and chipped tiles. Would be wonderful to renovate the rooms with that vintage style the hotel has.
Really lovely old style Andalusian decor, a small hotel right in the center of the Carihuela walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants with a lovely pool area with a lot of vintage character . Beds were super comfy.

United States of AmericaHotel Residencia Miami in Torremolinos had offered the best solid hot shower of our whole Spain trip! This smaller hotel contained tired but cozy traditional decor. Our room was clean and comfortable with balcony doors overlooking a nice private courtyard and pool. It was a great walkable location for the local oceanfront boardwalk. The host was very willing to assist with our evening walking and dining plans, and he was full of good suggestions. Having a private parking lot was super handy. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

United KingdomRooms are quite basic but this is reflected in the price.
Beautiful, traditional building with a pretty, tranquil garden and pool. Very close to the seaside, yet away from the crowds and noise of Torremolinas. Our room was quite small and simple, but clean and a decent shower so it did the job for 1 night. Parking was very easy and free. The staff (owners?) were friendly. There's a basic breakfast for 6 Euros if you order it the day before. But of course, the whole of Torremolinas is just beyond the gates, lots of restaurants, bars and shops.

BelgiumThe room we were assigned was quite small and the doors/walls are thin so the noise of other guest walking through the hallway was waking us up throughout the night.
This hotel is very charming, the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. The interior of the hotel, garden and pool are very nice. Location is also excellent. We enjoyed our stay here.

SpainNo tea making facilities but the kitchen provided water and cups 😋. 1st time we have to pay for our small dogs who are well trained, and don't shed hair, so no extra cleaning required.

United KingdomNothing we didn't like.
We loved this typical Spanish hotel where we were given a warm welcome. Sadly we only stayed one night and had to miss the breakfast which I'm sure we would have loved to have on the pretty terrace. It was very quiet at night and handy for shops and the beach as well as the airport. Also having parking is great.

SpainSound travels between one room and the next so I was woken up when the people next door decided to get up. The TV did not have access to digital services (Disney+, Netflix, etc.). There was only limited viewing on Spanish national channels although some European channels were available.
It is was it is: no frills. A straightforward, basic, reasonably priced hotel. Very close to the Carihuela beach. The wifi signal and connection were good. The great plus is the free off road car parking facility.
