Romy, our host, was super helpful and informative. The apartment was fantastic. It had everything we needed. Romy had thought of everything we might need, toiletries, coffee, cakes, juice, and water. The bed was so comfortable. There was a kitchen we could use for any extras we might need and to cook if we wished. Exceeded my expectations!!

First of all, the home the suite is in is an historic property. The suite has been updated and is amazing. The suites are incredibly clean and comfortable, and have all the amenities needed. The hosts are warm and welcoming Nd have thought of all details. There are even screens on the windows (which is not common in Europe!) I highly recommend!

This is THE PLACE to stay in Irun, especially if you're walking the Camino de Santiago. Perfect location, restful accommodation, helpful host. Highly recommend! If you're doing Camino, I recommend staying here at least 2 nights so you have time to prepare and enjoy charming Irun, and then start your Camino well-rested. In the private suite we had: comfortable beds (bedroom & living room sofa bed, I slept on the sofa bed and it's great!), bathroom with large shower, mini-fridge, big TV with streaming, and WIFI. Directly outside the suite, there's a shared (with one other suite) full kitchen with washer/dryer, free coffee, and sweets. But best of all is Romy, the host and owner. Many places have reviews about great hosts, but Romy really is THE BEST host. We flew into Donostia-San Sebastian Airport late, and it was raining heavily. There were very few taxis, and people were fighting over them. I messaged Romy to ask about transportation options, and she called us a taxi. She met us with an umbrella as the taxi arrived at her beautiful home and welcomed us so sweetly. She explained step-by-step how to get our Pilgrim Credential, send our luggage ahead, buy trekking poles and supplies, and where to start the Camino. And we accomplished all of this within a 5- to 10-minute walk from the suite. She even took my father to a knife store and translated for him. She is the definition of hospitality. We had the best start to Camino because we stayed here.

We felt very welcome, the hosts are very nice. The suite is beautifully decorated, with a spacious bedroom. Shared, fully equipped kitchen with free access to coffee, tea, milk, water and sweets. The parking inside the premises is a big plus. Restaurants and bars at 3 minutes walking distance.

Host made us feel very welcome and gave us a lot of information about the area and facilities available. Our suite was spotless and it was in an excellent location close to centre and train station. Brilliantly equipped with lots of thoughtful touches such as a fridge stocked with essentials (in the room) and home-made jams (in the shared kitchen). We ate our breakfast there and I did not have to do the dishes (has a dishwasher) her thought was: I would be on vacation, so no dishes. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

We chose the location as part of our road trip from Uk to Portugal.. perfectly positioned as an overnight stop. The suite had everything we needed and even thoughtfully welcomed our dog. Romy was super friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Cleanliness perfect. Everything modern, including our own Netflix! Best thing?? The bed! Huge with luxury sheets… like sleeping in a cloud. Makes such a difference for weary travelers. Thankyou Romy! Hope to see you again. Jo and John
