Only a few rooms had air-conditioning, and it was very hot while we were there. I understand more rooms will have aircon next year.

A perfect place with lovely staff - a great countryside retreat away from the crowds of the Costa Brava. We loved the walk across the farmland to the local towns of La Pera and Pubol. Pedro and Alba were wonderful hosts providing useful suggestions, a lovely breakfast and a welcoming environment.

Alba and Pedro were the most accommodating and friendly hosts we could have asked for in our travels. From the moment we booked the hotel to the moment we said goodbye they provided us with everything we could have asked for. All the food was home cooked and absolutely delicious whilst the breakfast included homemade jams, apples grown in their garden and all local produce. If I'm passing through this part of Spain again, I will be returning to their lovely house!

Minor issue that room layout had the bathroom off one bedroom. Otherwise property was a characterful old farmhouse with loads of charm.

Quiet rural location but with a 10 minute walk to La Pera and the local restaurant (L’Escola), and a 25 minute drive to Girona. The hosts Alba and Pedro were very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was particularly good with local cheeses, sausages and homemade cake. Property was great location to explore local cycling routes.

This place is so heart-warmingly cute with the beautifully renovated rural house, farm surrounding and all the animals at the yard. The most exceptional thing is the breakfast - It’s so good with all the local product, selfmade cakes and jams and the eggs from their own chicken. Rooms are also clean and bed was comfortable. I hope I have the opportunity to visit again!

There was nothing that we didn't like!

Our stay at Mas Duran was absolutely perfect. Alba and Pedro couldn't do enough for us to ensure that our stay was everything we wanted it to be. They were very attentive to all our needs without being intrusive and work exceptionally hard to make sure all guests' needs are catered for. The breakfast provided was fabulous and gave great choices of local and home made produce. They were truly exceptional hosts who welcomed us warmly and explained everything we needed to know on arrival and about how to walk into La Pera village etc. Our stay left us relaxed and happy and we would recommend this venue to anybody wanting a quiet rural getaway.

This was amazing countryside house with real Spanish feel. Very welcoming family hosts. A good size rooms with bathroom. We could use garden and terrace and there is a little pool also that can be very relaxing during hot summer days. Breakfast with local food, home made jams and lemon cake. We found it exceptional. This is a family owned business in a wonderful and calm place. The dinners and the breakfast are very good. The treatment is very personalized. My partner got sick and everybody took great care of him. The best thing was to play with the goat ;)

Lovely quiet place in the middle of nowhere. Breakfast was amazing all local and home cooked with a lot of choice. Pedro and Alba were wonderful hosts nothing too much trouble.

The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The location was great, the hotel is in a walking distance from la Pera which is a very quiet and charming little town. Food was delicious and good quality from local sources.

We loved our short stay! Super friendly family who owns the lovely old house with nice garden and surroundings. We were offered recommendations of the region which we gladly took. It was beautiful to go to the closeby medieval villages! There's an option to have dinner with regional specialties. The breakfast was good, too.

Possibility to order a bottle of wine in the evening or some light snacks. I understand there is no bar or restaurant but that facility would have enhanced the stay.
