Lack of availability of food and drinks. Restaurant wasn’t open during our stay so only breakfast available. It was a shame as it’s such a rural property it would have been nice to have an evening meal and a drink after a busy day out.

The room is stylish, but due to a large shower, the toilet is cramped. Just one toiletrol and no soap for your hands. Only soap in the shower.

The rooms are stylish decorated. Reception lady is very friendly and professional. Breakfast is good and staff in general is friendly.

There were no kettles in rooms to make a drink. The cafe at the hotel closed at 5.30 and the restaurant was shut. The other nearest restaurant about 2km was also closed. Reception also closed at 5.30 but staff advised there was a microwave in the entrance for guests to use if they wanted to heat own food or boil some water to make a drink, however there were no cups plates or cutlery available for use.

Loved the location. Was so pretty, very quiet. The rooms were very clean and the staff were lovely. Breakfast was good.

We booked this hotel as it had a restaurant, but unfortunately it was closed on Monday and most of the restaurants in the area seem to take Monday off.

Most of the things are very mino and easy to fix, and these aren't really complaints, just areas for slight improvement. The beds were fairly hard, but we slept, and we could have done with another pillow as these are pretty thin.. The shower whilst usable wasn't the most powerful and the shower door needs looking at as it wouldn't stay in place and water then went underneath near the toilet. Also, I would have liked a kettle.

The views were fantastic and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Having onsite charging for an electric vehicle is a huge plus as well. Another surprise was breakfast, which is simple but very tasty. Would I stay again? Absolutely!

The bed wasn't really comfortable. I'm 6ft2 and it's a bit soft. Tea for breakfast, I mean some hot water freely available would be a great idea.

This property only offers accommodation and lunches through the week now but we love the location and have stayed before. The bed was very comfortable although the decor isn't quite our thing but appreciate that it is high on the wedding venue list for the area.

When we arrived at 5:30 we were told the restaurant wasn’t open and the closest place for food and drinks was 4 miles away. Then when we went to check out the following morning there were people having breakfast which we didn’t know was possible.

Dirty and poor state of repair in rooms, shower was poor and flow rate was terrible. Cleaned rooms early and woke us up, rolling trollies down a tiled floor. No kettle or glasses. No dining facilities or vending machines etc

Beautiful setting in the French country side. Old historical building converted to the hotel with high rated restaurant. Rooms are small but have all you need. Views are beautiful if you are facing the restaurant area.

Once inside it all falls apart, we had two rooms, neither of the rooms locked correctly. One only locked from the inside and other only locked from the outside. The staff had already left at 5.30pm (we arrived at 5.15) so we couldn’t ask anyone for a safer room. Beds were not very supportive and creaked loudly every time you moved in the night. Paper thin walls meant we could hear other people snoring, sneezing, screaming, and having adult relations. The unlocked door at the end of the hallway was slamming all night from smokers going outside, keeping us all awake. The rooms are fitted with so much plastic it cracks and creaks through the night as the temperature changes, keeping us even further from sleep. Breakfast looked very inviting but so little was put out we could only have half a croissant each (there were only 4 of us) and a single slice of ham and cheese each. The coffee was like coal…I don’t know how they made it taste so bad! Ourselves and the other guests had to keep asking for water for the kettle and more juice ect because there was never enough brought out for more then one person. No staff were there when we checked out. I think they knew we wouldn’t be happy in our noisy room and hid from us. The restaurant looked lovely from the outside but we were told it was closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Very small car park

The drive up the mountains to the property was lovely and the hotel is beautiful from the outside with stunning views. Reasonable sized rooms, with the nice touch of bottled water in the room. Air con in the rooms. Rooms seemed clean

No facilities for making a cup of coffee. Small room. A long way from restaurants and most of those did not serve food on weekday evenings. We found it very difficult to find somewhere to eat!
