Our bed was a bit hard.

The man running the hotel has a real personality. The breakfast in the morning is beautiful and he and his collegue serve in traditional outfits. The stay was not just a place to sleep but an experience! They also gave us a very good recommandation for a place for dinner.

Trying to find it.

The experience was fantastic. So rural and quiet. Great views from the property. We did have difficulty finding it but with help of locals finally got there. Our GPS wouldn’t pick up the name you need to ensure Lurdeia is the name. Breakfast a great experience the brothers all dressed in national costume made this a real cultural experience.

breakfast is the only weak point of this hotel. the idea of ​​having it served by a person in traditional clothes was very nice but I found it very limited and we were served unusual products (cashew nuts and nachos??). considering the presence of the farm I would have expected more variety and km0 or homemade products. the plastic tablecloth is not suitable in a place like this. unfortunately the owners were unable to give us information on open restaurants nearby so we had to eat a kepab in Bermeo.

the rural house is located on the top of a hill with a magnificent view of the sea and the mountains, it is an oasis of peace. to reach it you cross a beautiful forest. the building is renovated with great care and the garden is perfect. there is parking and a kitchen available to customers. bedrooms and bathrooms are large and comfortable. we really appreciated the attention to sustainability. the owner doesn't speak fluently English but is available on whatsapp. we asked for an extra room after booking and it was given to us with a discount for single use.

Windy and narrow roads to get to the top + nothing nearby, so get your snacks before you head up to LURDEIA! Of course it is expected as it is in the middle of nature, but just letting you know in case you’re not a confident driver!

Totul a fost minunat.

It is not just a simple accommodation location, it is an example of harmony between man and nature. Everyone has their own opinion about faith, all my life I have believed and believe that the sun is our God, father and mother earth, it is the one that gives birth and nourishes us from all points of view. This place is a miracle and I'm glad I discovered it, it strengthened my belief that I'm not alone on earth.

Excellent rural and relaxing location with exceptional views. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Fully equipped shared kitchen allow for the guests to cook themselves. Super friendly, funny and helpful hosts. Overall laid back atmosphere where you feel at home immediately.

Not easy to reach. Using navigation equipment it is better to reach Bermeo if you're coming from Guernika

Everything was exceptinal

We enjoyed every bit of the eco hotel! the rooms, the house, the owners, the breakfast, the mountain, the landscape. Everything was exceptional, really recommend it if you love nature and if you like people with a good heart. We were visiting Bilbao, Bermeo, Mundaka, Gernika, and surroundings and location was very convenient, had a bit of everything, a place to stay in the mountains and very convenient to Bilbao and towns nearby.
