Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe witch’s staircase to the roof terrace could challenge anyone with limited mobility or vertigo. €17 for parking 2 bikes was ok, but maybe bit steep for parking car overnight.
Stunning location and views from the private roof terrace. Great location for exploring Cuenca which is epic. Safe underground car parking underground for motorbikes. Restaurants and bars conveniently situated but at tourist prices.

United KingdomThere is nothing to dislike about this place.
This is an unbelievably good apartment! It's in a beautiful old building with outstanding views and it is within easy walking distance of the town centre. It represented fabulous value for money. The keys are picked up at the hotel opposite, and the staff there were lovely. Secure parking in an underground car park is within 100m and we left our car there for the duration of the stay as everything is within walking distance.

PolandKitchen is so small that making proper meal is a big challenge. There is not enough lighting in the apartment rooms, only small dim spotlights in the corners. Also, here are nails sticking out of the wooden floor, don't even try to walk barefoot, this should be fixed for safety reasons. Finally, the internet, it is so slow it is useless, with enough patience you might check your email etc.
Charming apartment with rooftop terrace we did not use often enough due to cold weather. Despite the weather the apartment was warm (2 radiators and 2 ACs). Bathroom had warm water and strong enough water pressure. This is a big plus as warmth and water pressure are the two most common issue we face in apartmenst in the south of Europe. And then there is the view, perhaps the best we've seen so far in our journeys.

United KingdomThis location was the highlight of our travels in Spain. I cannot recommend it highly enough
The views were absolutely stunning down the mountain. In the old town where apartments are located are all cobbled streets. There is very little English spoken here but this really added to the experience of visiting the real Spain.

SpainThe suite is overlooking a canyon on the other side of which is an artificial beach and a restaurant. That night they celebrated something with blasting music which continued till 3-4AM. We had to move to the couch in the other room, close all the windows and still regretted we didn’t take earplugs, so it’s kind of ruined the only night we planned to sleep listening to the nature’s sounds…
Unbelievable location at this price! Panoramic windows, terrace where nobody can see you (we stayed there naked) even a fireplace! Pity we stayed only 1 night - worth a week, as a Cuenca, the most authentic Castilian city so far. Highly recommended!

United KingdomThe pictures of the property could have been clearer…there are several flats all listed under one heading and it wasn’t clear which one we were actually paying for. The photos then are misleading.
A great location to explore Cuenca. We enjoyed exploring the town. Air conditioning was a huge plus as the midday heat was quite intense. The property was clean.

TaiwanThere’s something wrong with the WiFi.
We stayed there for 2 nights. The location is so great that we can stroll in the old castle and take a rest anytime. We don’t rent a car, but the bus is convenient.

SpainIn need of maintenance. Couldn't enjoy the balcony as French doors to it would not open, nor close completely, resulting in a cold draft coming in the apartment at a cold time of year. Broken blinds and some dirty crockery, that would have been noticed if checked. Fancy tv and shower, but no instructions as to how to use them.
Fantastic views. Well equipped, clean appartment with comfortable bed and sofa. Good value for money and set in a good location with good access to free parking a few minutes up the hill.

United StatesWe paid extra for breakfast and it was very very basic. I think I would have preferred paying for the much larger and better breakfast buffet at the hotel across the street.
Views! Great bathroom! Balcony terrace! I had read other reviews and knew that I had to pick up the keys at the hotel across the street. The hotel receptionist was very nice, and he even provided us with extra bread for our second day there (we had just ordered 1 breakfast beforehand). There was free parking up the hill about a 5 minute walk away. I think it's best to drive down in front of the place and drop off luggage before parking, or you can pay for parking nearer by.

United KingdomOnly a tiny negative .... the kitchen area was okay to make a cup of coffee but lacked space to prepare food. It was well equipped, and perfectly fine for breakfast and there are dozens of good restaurants. If you intend to cook all your meals in the apartment you might struggle!
The apartment was gorgeous. The views from the living room spectacular. This is an apartment that we spent more time in than we intended. The sofa is comfortable and big, the beds are super comfortable and it retains original features and is beautifully decorated. We absolutely loved it! The hosts were warm, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Los Ojos de la Mora. Probably the nicest apartment rental I´ve stayed in.
