If you have a large car do not try to reach the B&B through the narrow streets in the old town yourself. But rather make an appointment with Juan who can then show you the way up to the front door of the B&B. Something he did for us.

A truly unique and heartwarming stay! We chose Hotel Los Canilleros for a one-night stay during our visit to the Requena wine festival, and it completely exceeded all our expectations. This beautiful 19th-century building is located right in the heart of Requena's historic old town. Stepping inside felt like a journey back in time, with an incredible atmosphere. The owners have clearly poured their heart and soul into every detail to make the stay as comfortable as possible. Our room was small but incredibly cozy, equipped with all the modern amenities we needed. The breakfast was a real treat, featuring delicious local delicacies. The staff were exceptionally attentive and courteous. We particularly have to mention Senior Juan, who looked after us with the care of a father. You truly don't feel like you're in a hotel, but rather as if you're a guest visiting family. We would gladly return here again.

The location is perfect for exploring the old town but many of the surrounding streets are full of derelict buildings. It would have been nice to have an outdoor space to sit but the upstairs lounge was very sunny.

This is a lovely B&B in the old town of Raquena which has been beautifully restored. Our room was tiny (one of the downsides of choosing a historic building) but comfortable. This was particularly important as I was unwell when I was there and spent a lot of time in the room. Breakfasts were delicious and the owners couldn't have been more helpful.

A beautiful old house that has been charmingly renovated with modern amenities and luxury finishes. Incredibly clean, well thought out for guests comfort. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, even for myself as a vegetarian. The owner was very friendly and even showed us the bodega under the house! Parking not an issue (stayed out of high season). Thank you to the team for the high standard of hospitality.

“An Exceptional Stay at Los Canilleros” Our experience at Los Canilleros was simply fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were met with incredible food and service provided by a wonderful family. Everyone was extremely friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay truly special. The value is exceptional, with comfortable, clean accommodation that made us feel right at home. The decor was beautiful and so stylish. The plentiful supply of hot water was a welcome luxury after a long day of exploring. Breakfast was a joy, beautifully set out with the best quality ingredients. We bought some fabulous wines from the families own vineyards, so delicious! A special thank you to Juan, Christina and Julia for their warm hospitality and attentiveness – they made our stay even more memorable. We can’t wait to return! Highly recommended!

There is nothing to not like. Perfection.

What a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are just beautiful, the design is so sympathetic to the property, everything was stylish, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. Also a massive thank you to the team who came to collect us from the train station when we realised we had arrived at the rapid station (a long way from the town with no easy way of getting there).

Very nicely renovated, super clean and stylish. Very comfortable bed and liked having a small balcony to sit outside. Really appreciated the Clarins toiletries. The breakfast was excellent and very generous . The owner was extremely helpful and made lots of good suggestions about places to visit, eat etc. we really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it as a base for visiting the area.

Everything was exceptional!

Juan and his daughter Christina have fully renovated Los Canilleros B&B, a house dating back to 1859, to the highest level. We had a deluxe room. It was spacious, well outfitted and very quiet as is the town of Requena. The bathroom was roomy and exceptionally clean. Breakfast each morning was prepared with care and we were always greeted by either Christina or Juan. There is ample parking available. A highlight was seeing the cave at the house. It has been restored in the same manner as the house and is a must see! We appreciated Juan organizing a tour of the caves at the main square as well.
