Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomOne huge problem, Very few umbrellas around the pool. It was very hot and with only a few customers getting any shade it was unpleasant to be around the pool. The sunbeds were packed in tightly which was also unpleasant and claustrophobic.
Rooms very nice and large. The whole hotel was very clean. All staff very helpful and pleasant. Food selection for AI basis was good, especially dessert!

United KingdomThere no kids buffet, would be great to have a little area specifically for kids food. Plain pasta, chicken nuggets standard fussy kids food. Play grounds a tripping hazard, holes all over the floor with chunks missing. Playgrounds in need of a good paint & renovation. Kids disco didn’t start till 8.30pm for 30 minutes, same play list of songs each night. Could start it earlier for younger kids & put it in an hour since first sitting for dinner is 6.30om. Where you tend to see most of the younger kids that the disco would be for. Staff were great though so not their fault, just needs more. We were only there a week but if there longer needs more effort on the kids. Only other thing is lack of umbrellas so if you do have a kid need to grab one early. Even though it states no towels before 10.30am all were down from 8am. That doesn’t stop people stealing them though whilst you’re away at breakfast! Some people have no manors.
This hotel is great, clean & spacious rooms. Pools great, fantastic location, friendly staff but there just one element they are missing a trick on. I feel to make this resort outstanding they need to focus on the kids. Sunbeds were being replaced whilst we was there so that’s good ready for summer season.

IrelandVery disappointed with daily activities, no aqua aerobics or water sport or much activity around pool. Have stayed here on many occasions, missed the Dance routine and Buzz of Team of last November. The present team, though pleasant, didn't create the same atmosphere.
Lovely hotel, great staff, good food, excellent location, very clean. Would highly recommend.

United Kingdomswimming pool, it was March and it said it was heated to 19.5 degrees, which was very cold and sadly I didn't use it, neither was anyone else, wish i had read reviews properly as this seems as warm as it gets, we were near the smaller pool. also gym was an extra charge and was closed over the weekend. Liked the hotel, but not being able to comfortably use the pool would likely stop me from booking again
fabulous buffet, well stocked, lots of choice and always being topped up. lovely gardens, clean and tidy in a good position to walk i to town, clean comfortable rooms

IcelandThe property needs maintainance, paint is chipping of doors, bathroom is worn, sink was loose and hanging , toilet was old and smelly. There is a sizable gap under the door to outside, so bugs and wind have an easy entrance. The tables in the room where damaged from water. There where some ants in the room strolling around but not crowding. The pools are unheated but nice that the children can have their floaties inn it without trouble. The sunbeds where most very worn and far to few to accomodate all the guests. There was no surveillance on people hamstering sunbeds with their towles from 7 in the morning and then not using them all day! The buffe restaurant was the same all days with no Thematic evenings concerning food. Not even on easter sunday did they have something more fancier or festive. The dinner is served in a windowless basement and the noise is terrible, we could not enjoy eating due to loud noise. It was possible to wait to have dinner until 21.00, them it was more quiet, but then everything was eaten and they had stopped topping food up. The food was ok, but nothing more than that. It was possible to eat outside during breakfast and lunch since it is served upstairs. The All inclusive + was not adding anything extra for the children the same Ice cream and sodas. No snacks are awailable from 10.30-13.00 nothing but drinks and ice cream tubs on the only bar open by the pool. All the staff where wonderful and nice and get 10/10.
Very nice location close to shops. Shower was powerfull. Beds where good.

IrelandThe rooms are very tired, in particular the bathrooms. The whole place is in need of a fairly big overhaul and refurbishment in reality. The bathroom sink was hanging down so water collected without draining and the shower has seen more silicone repairs than Katie Price. Quite a lot of the sunbeds are in poor condition with the material broken and hanging down, something that surely is easy to replace without having to decommission whole areas of the hotel like room refurbishment would.
All inclusive buffet food was very good, good selection and plenty to choose from. There was a good variety everyday for every meal and snacks were easily got in between. The waiting staff worked tireslessly to keep the large crowds moving and tables clean. The rooms are immaculately clean and housekeeping does a great job. It is worth paying the extra for the light blue band if you are going all inclusive as you get the "good" spirits eg smirnoff/absolut and the cocktails are premium. Special mention to Rachid on the pool bar, friendly and entertaining. The kids entertainers were all brilliant and even though my little one was too small for kids club, she had a ball at the mini disco and shows in the bar. For a last minute family friendly holiday on a budget, it was very hard to complain.

United KingdomI didn't like the fact that food was very repetitive (same things every day) and that for lunch in particular the choice of salads was very limited. But given the price paid my expectations were met.
I liked the room, the swimming pools, the cleanliness of the place and the kindness of the staff. We paid a very low price so really value for money. Also the location is very good and you can reach Corralejo's city centre in 10'. The dunes are far (35' walking).

United KingdomThe dining experience was nosier and more congested than we would normally choose. The food was buffet style so the staff were so busy clearing tables we always ended up having to set our own table. Space was limited around the tables. There were 3 evenings when you could choose to book a la carte. (15 tables only)
the staff were excellent. The room was a good size. The room over looked the pool .
