A wonderful family-run hotel! We stayed there before and after doing the Carros de Foc trek, and it served as a great base for us, as it is located just a 15 minutes drive from Espot, where the trek starts. They even kept our luggage for a whole week while we were trekking. We were a family of 5 (2 adults + 3 kids) and got a duplex-room: on the lower floor - the living room with 1 single bed, and on the upper floor - 2 bedrooms, 1 with a double bed and 1 with 2 separate beds. There were 2 bathrooms, 1 on each floor, and a small refrigirator. The room was clean and tidy, with plenty of storage space, and was quite spacious. We were on a half-board basis: Breakfast was a buffet of bread with cheese and other spreads, cakes, coffee/tea/juice etc. Dinner was a fixed menu, which changed every evening, from which we could chose a first dish, a main dish and desert. All in all - the food was very tasty. The staff was extremely nice, especially Judith, who was so kind and thoughtful, and spoke very good English. There's also free parking for the hotel guests. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area!

Only thing to take into consideration, for whom it matters - there isn't an elevator in the hotel.

Just all super friendly and hospitable. Felt super homey. Breakfast was great and common room was very cozy with fireplace and boardgames etc. Room was a big surprise and much better than expected. Pictures dont do it justice and bed was huge.

The hotel has all necessary amenities, it is very cosy, extremely clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful. We liked in particular that they have their own restaurant and we could get a dinner there without having to leave. Breakfast was good, decent selection of food. The hotel looks new, has nice design, we liked the attention to detail. Adapted to skiers, has a place to keep your skis. Rooms are spacious, very clean, have nice views to the mountains or the valley. 30 min drive from Baqueira main station, the smaller stations are closer.

Everything was great, nothing to complain about. Maybe breakfast could start earlier (starts at 8).

High up in the mountains we decided to book bed, breakfast and evening meal. We were out of season for skiing so there weren't many other guests. Nevertheless, the food was excellent with plenty of choices offered. We had a little trouble with the language at first but a young lady arrived who spoke good English and she remained available throughout our stay. We were evening offered use of a garage for our motorbikes.

The main village was a 15 minute,1.5 km walk down a track. Coming back up took about 30 minutes and required a stop to replenish the lungs! We enjoyed the views and don't consider it a negative.

This is the best example of what people can achieve when they do things they love. Owners of hotels are very customer-oriented. They did their best to help us with any questions we had. The hotel by itself is really nice, clean, and cozy! I would recommend taking a half board as the food is very delicious.

Very nice and cosy hotel next to Parc Nacional Aigüestortes. Great atmosphere and design, comfortable and very friendly staff.

it was a bit cold during the day (in the room and common areas) because they only put the heating on at night but I guess it will be open all day during winter time.
