How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The entire check in process is online, so we didn’t get to see the people in charge to ask their advice about where to eat and stuff like that. That’s the only thing but it’s obviously very minor.
It was perfect for our family of five: Excellent downtown location, with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, minisplits in each room, full kitchen + utensils, and a working washing machine! Definitely the best stay from our whole trip!

The bathroom had a leakage coming down from the walls.
Proximity to shops and restaurants and all of the historic sites. The staff was 100% responsive to all of our requests.

The only thing i didn like was the damp smell. one of the wardrobes иin the small room cannot be used due to moisture.there was mold on the ceiling
cozy, new apartment, offering everything you need for a pleasant stay. It was very quiet and peaceful, at the same time a 2-minute walk from the central attractions. Two minutes from a convenient parking lot if you are by car.

There was a slight smell of drains coming from the second bedroom en-suite. It didn't bother us really, and should be easily rectified. Otherwise, a lovely apartment to stay in
Very comfortable and well equipped apartment on a quiet street, very close to the centre of things in Seville. Attention paid to details by the hosts, with the apartment spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything you would need for any length of a stay. This was our second stay at the apartment building, and it did not disappoint.

The furniture needs some updating. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable and there was a terrible sewer smell from bathroom upstairs. However we noticed the same smell around the city…..most likely not their fault.
I loved the location and the style of the apartment was very nice. The host was very responsive.

Sofa and living room furniture tired and uncomfortable. Not very generous supply of towels.
The location was excellent. The manager/owner was very accommodating with keys and a short extension to time of leaving. Kitchen equipment etc excellent. The apartment was unbelievably quiet despite being such a central location.

The beds and pillows were so uncomfortable. Beds felt lumpy and hard. There was one thin pillow per person. We asked for extra pillows before arriving and also after we arrived and our requests were ignored. If you get the “breakfast included”, be aware that it is at a restaurant about six minute walk from the apartment. Also, they don’t open till 9 AM. We had a morning tour our last day and didn’t get to use the breakfast because we didn’t realize that the restaurant opened later.
The location is great. Very convenient and close to many restaurants and close walk to the river. Everything was spotlessly clean. Staff accommodated our request for a late checkout which we greatly appreciated.

First of all, the people you deal with are greatly helpful, while of course everything was accurately well explained in advance and durithecstay. As well, the cleanliness was perfect : let me say EVERYTHING was clean. Of course the location is perfect (near Arenal), 5min walk from bus station....
