It was clean and well-equipped and close by to shops and restaurants. Also easy access to the centre of Madrid either by walking or Metro. The owner was very helpful prior to arrival.

Great location. 2 minutes walking to reach a large 24 hours opening supermarket, also the bus stop and metro station are just in front of the supermarket, About 20 minutes walking to reach most sightseeing and place we visited or 10 minutes by transport. The apartment was very cute and clean with a nice decoration, and we could have everything we needed for staying, it was lovely apartment. We had late check in after 23:00 pm, the owner was very welcomed and nice to wait for our arrival and gave us the keys, gave the information we needed for staying, also he brought a spare bed linens as our request. He responded our message in time, even during the overnight to help us. He was very thoughtful to care our staying and helped to book the taxi for us to the airport.

Great location within easy walking distance to tourist sites and Attocha station. Good 24h supermarket around the corner. Alfonso kindly let us leave our luggage at the apartment before official check-in time .

Great location, just steps away from the Lavapiés center and Metro with lots of great bars & restaurants nearby. The apartment is very nicely laid out and decorated, and outfitted with everything needed (but do bring your own coffee/tea) Even though the area is very lively it was very quiet when in the apartment. The host was also very responsive to the few questions we had.

Upstairs and next door are noisy. Even during the middle of the night and early hours, when trying to sleep.

We like that the place is convenient and walking distance to the attraction places. Museums, train stations, etc. Shops were 1 minute walk, a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, and little souvenir shops. The host was also very good.

This was a compact apartment but comfortable and extremely well equipped and perfect for a short break in this lovely city. Lavapies is vibrant and buzzing and very cosmopolitan (the apartment is moments walk away from the metro stop) and there is a 24 hr supermarket along with loads of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. Alfonso is a brilliant host, really helpful and responds to texts immediately (we asked for a spare set of keys and they were delivered by his friend within the hour). Highly recommended!

Quite a lot of noise from conversations in other apartments and flushing of water etc seem amplified outside bedroom window.

Nice location in a non-tourist part of town. 20min walk to Atocha rail station and airport bus. Clean and functional apartment. Nicely presented. Plenty of ethnic restaurants at very good value prices. Carrefours supermarket 50m away.

The very diverse neighborhood is a bit unsettling at first glance but it is actually very lively and welcoming so don’t let it scare you. it is a safe area.

The apartment was deceivingly small but very efficient. It has a bedroom, well stacked kitchen, bathroom and a living room/dining room. The place was very clean. It is up on 2 flights of stairs but there is an elevator if you don’t want to use the stairs. I also like that there are windows all around that you can open to let the air in if you’d rather not turn on the air conditioner. It is just across a metro and a 24 hour supermarket is a block away. There are tons of eateries to choose from. This apartment is ideal for short or long stays.

The location is near the center but on the immigrants part.... So lots of drugs offers during day and night. The door didn't block any noise from the stairs.

No English on tv!!! Toilet seat was broken! No kettle/coffee maker - had to boil water in a saucepan on cooker to make a cup of tea! Thought there was a balcony - but NOT. When I booked it, the photo of front of the building shows balconies & I presumed there would be a nice balcony to sit on! NO..... No outside space to dry washing? But there's a washing machine? Very noisy neighbours above - banging/moving furniture from 12.30am - 2.30am & started again at 5.53am on both nights - so hardly slept 😥 Immigrants in the square outside were intimidating. Shower overflowed, so I removed the chrome drain plug. Appartment door is very difficult to open (took us 10 minutes to figure it out) - you have to pull hard towards you & then turn the key. Would definitely NOT stay here again 😪

Good location very near the metro. 24 hour market a few doors away. Easy to get a cab or Uber. Easy access to the palace, park, botanical garden and museum. Very clean and comfortable.

it was small but adequate Alfonso the owner was very accommodating . He arranged cab to pick us up at 5:00an our departure morning. The unit had very comfortable bed and shower was good The kitchen was minimally equipped but ok for a few days. the area of Madrid where apartment is located is quite seedy so we stayed in every evening. Tv choice is very minimal thank goodness we had Netflix on our iPads
