United KingdomI very very rarely leave a bad review but I would not want anyone else to choose to come to this hotel, its awful! We booked a superior room, which turned out to be an attic room, horribly dark, with no natural light aoart from 2 tiny floor level windows. The room was VERY hot, but if you used the air con it resulted in a lot of rusty water dripping down from the ceiling onto the bed and floor ( it was also ridiculously noisy). When we spoke to hotel reception, she simply shrugged her shoulders and said there was nothing she could do. They really couldn't care less. The pictures show how much water fell just on the floor where we placed glasses to catch the drips! Awful nights sleep, and while I would absolutely recommend Puebla de Sanabria as a place to visit, just avoid this hotel!!!.
The only good thing about this hotel is the location.

United KingdomAs we were outside of peak season the hotel was quiet with only one member of staff. Although initial helpful at reception the beds were not set up as twins which we had asked for although this was rectified. The spa was not working which was the reason why we chose this expensive hotel, although reluctantly apologetic there was no change to the price or other dispensation offered. Trying to get a drink took ages and the bar staff were not at all helpful or friendly. I am sure if you went here mid season it would be lovely but my expericnes for arranging a group booking of cyclists was very poor.

United StatesAlthough may not have been possible in town, guaranteed parking nearby would help. Also, since breakfast not until 9h00, have coffee available in rooms or downstairs for guests who prefer coffee earlier in morning.
Well designed room making good use of space. Comfortable.
