Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FranceAs with most Spanish properties there is an element of echo.
A really nice family run guest house. The room was comfortable, shower was good. Great to have a bar and restaurant on site. Very easy access to walking and Ordessa National Park. Great Value for money and the staff were lovely.

United StatesWiFi was not the best, got kicked off countless times. Just a side note, I was there when it snowed a lot. They (the county) don't do a great job in cleaning the roads, it was an issue. However, it was a very nice stay.
Smooth quick check-in. Nice balcony room. Great hot water. Parking directly on the side of the property. Large Queen size bed. Daniel USA

SpainThe pillows were quiet uncomfortable so if you are staying more nights, I recommend bringing your own pillow. The bed was with a spring mattress so it's on the firm side, so you should take that under consideration. It was okay for 2 nights.
The room was cozy, very clean and warm and close to Monte Perdido, that was our main destination. The staff was nice. The views are good. There's a village close by that had open cafes and restaurants all day long. Best value we could find for a great little hotel in the area.

United KingdomAll good...
A well appointed rural hotel, which was well located on our motorcycle tour route. The rooms were of a good size and comfortable, but the bathrooms, whilst perfectly acceptable in terms of their facilities were a little on the small size, but not to the extent it spoilt our stay. Our hosts were very friendly and attentive to our needs, which included allowing us to park our motorcycles in the secure garage/beer store. Highly recommended. Thank you...

The room and hotel (in general) is clean and well managed. The beds were comfortable. The view from the balcony is quite nice. Separate parking spot for the hotel was very helpful. Kind and gentle hosts.

HungaryVery friendly, good atmosphere, comfortable accommodation in a nice mountain village, conveniently close to the hiking trails in the Ordesa National Park. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. It is a good place to arrive and leave from. In the morning you wake up to the sound of the flock, a real fresh air, mountain atmosphere. The breakfast and dinner are phenomenal.

AustraliaOwners, Mary and Danny were really lovely. Mary a fantastic cook, recommend you have dinner there as well as the breakfast included. A 15 minute drive to Torla, where you can take a bus up to the Monte Perdido Ordesa National Park. Beautiful walk with many waterfalls. Linás de Broto is not touristy, cool at night, even during the heat wave. Very reasonable prices. Muchas gracias!

SpainThe food . Not many options available . No fresh produce except for one salad even though there is a beautiful kitchen garden behind the property . The first night they ran out of half the food options. The second night we managed to have the steak and chips , but the chips were not cooked well. Very limited breakfast choices . The bed was uncomfortable .

United KingdomThey changed check in time and had closed the restaurant WITHOUT GIVING ME ANY NOTICE. (I could have bought something to eat if I had known). Nearest place to eat was 2-3 km away. Despite the room description there was no TV or Radio. Hair dryer looked dangerous. Bed was fine if you like a VERY hard mattress.
It has a car park

United KingdomThe room had a balcony which would have been lovely if it were usable, unfortunately there was an infestation of wasps which had not be dealt with correctly hence unable to use balcony or even open doors . Evening dinner, no choice other than eat it or leave it!! Not our idea of value for money or even enjoyable would not recommend - we were served a starter which consisted of a plate of green peas, small amount of chopped cured ham and half a hard boiled egg. Main meal was a piece of white fish which looked like it had been steamed, it had some form of herbs on top but the dish was totally bland, served with what looked like over cooked artichoke and a small amount of red peppers. Thank goodness for Viennetta ice cream . We were asked what we wanted to drink and I had a white wine and my husband had a shandy. Other tables were served a carafe of wine and water, we were never offered either! If the carafe of wine was part of the menu we should have been advised. Worst meal we have ever had and totally disappointing.
The location suited our needs, very rural
