We had a lovely room with a very large bathroom, all beautifully decorated. Eduardo, our host, was charming, he suggested an excellent restaurant for dinner. The breakfast was delicious.

Sorry to say one thing.... about the bed... it was so uncomfortable both of us were unable to sleep on it .. Very Hard and strangely sprung. In all of our travels in we have never complained about a bed , please Eduado look at this , everything else was superb .. 👌

Beautiful location, when you enter through the front doorway, first impressions of the outside of the house was a wow factor and the attention to detail inside made for a cosy comfortable stay.

Really liked this place, recently renovated to a high standard. We had the best room with the iron bath and would stay here again. Everyone talks about his potato frittata. I was disappointed as I had to share it with other guests. It really is good! Very peaceful scenic place. Thank you Eduardo

We could not get Wi-Fi using the codes given to us. We did not want to bother Eduardo as it was late and we were only staying one night. So, it was compulsory relaxation. I'm sure it would have been sorted if we had asked.

Wonderful place to stay in the countryside, it is a beautiful property. Our quadruple room was clean and very comfortable. Eduardo was a great host and organized for the local bar/restaurant to stay open so that we could go there for dinner (as it was midweek in Winter and most places were closed). There was a good selection of foods for breakfast including his 'tortilla' which was delicious. Unfortunately, we only stayed one night as a rest stop driving north.

The hotel is beautiful, in a wonderful location. A very warm welcome where nothing is too much trouble. As a single lady travelling alone I couldn't have chosen a better place to stay, I felt so safe and comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely stay here next time I am going to Santander Ferry Port. Thank you Eduardo for such a good stay

It’s very quirky and every room is individual. Eduardo the owner is an artist himself and has ensured his B&B is full of character. As if that wasn’t enough - the tortilla in the morning is probably the best I’ve ever had - and we’ve had many trips to Spain.

A very nice, comfortable posada that is full of character, and set in stunning countryside with great views. We had a lovely dual aspect room. A friendly welcome from the owner, who is the tenor and the artist as well. A very convenient stopover on the way to the ferry at Santander, although the area itself demands time for exploring. We had no problems with it, but be aware that this is a dog friendly hotel. We were the only people without one. Recommended.

Loved staying here. Beautiful restored Posada. Very helpful and friendly owner. Tip.. We were travelling by bike and got caught out with no open restaurants for dinner nearby. So best to check ahead or eat on your way.

There were no directions or signs from the main road, which made it a little difficult to find, if not travelling by car.

An extremely nice, secluded and safe property hidden away and nestled in the foothills of the surrounding mountains. The owner spoke really good English and was very accommodating. The room, facilities and surroundings were faultless and the breakfast was top class. A really nice place to stay if you want peace and quiet.

The beds are hard which is usually what is often found in Spain. It's just not my preference.

It's very charming and picturesque. Also recently refurbished. We had a family room with the little nook up the stairs and the kids loved it. Pet friendly without any additional charge. Charming host with his old dog Cesar. Breakfast was very delicious. It's a nice stop only 40 mins from Santander. I will definitely come back and throughly recommended.
