We have used this hotel before, under unfortunate circumstances. The whole town came to our rescue and couldn't have looked after us any better. The building and rooms are so beautifull and full of history.

The room was cosy and just what we needed to break out trip. The hosts were welcoming and provided advice about local restaurants and historical sites to visit during our short stay.

The village centre is made up of narrow streets. If I was on my donkey it would be ok! The local people drive through the streets like it’s a motorway, so be careful when wandering through this lovely village!

Gorgeous old building with lots of character. Rosanna and Eduardo are very nice people. Lots of communal areas within the building. It was interesting to explore all the little nooks. Good location, handy for main square where we were able to park.

Beautiful conversion of old property with lovely roof terrace. Big room. In heart of old town between restaurants and castle.

The only thing we didn't like was the fact that we could only stay for one night!

An amazing gem right in the heart of the old town. Parking in the near by town square was free and the host came to meet us and walk us back to the flat. The room was luxurious and amazingly good value, we would happily stay here again.

It was extremely hot as we visited in the middle of a heatwave. The owners had done their best with fans and mobile aircon unit. We were surprised to find restaurants not open Saturday night but this is not a reflection on the hosts

Beautiful renovation and very spacious suite. The property was wonderful and the hosts very friendly and helpful. They even parked our car for us.

Beautiful house, very well decorated and with wonderful location in the heart of Chinchilla. Rooms were spacious and with everything you need. Host was extremely friendly. We were just sad that we only spent one night because the house where the Posada is located is really a pearl. I definitely recommend the location for anyone looking for a stay in the area.

This house is a little gem. It’s beautifully decorated and the hosts have renovated the property to a high standard. It is an oasis of calm with birds flying inside the courtyard and beautiful paintings adorning the walls.

Beautiful boutique hotel, moments from town centre and bars and restaurants. Room/suite was very clean and comfortable. Rooms open onto atmospheric inner courtyard with terrace above. Attentive and helpful host. Excellent choice for quiet vacation.

Fantastic place in an old palace. Retaurants, bars closeby. Parking a bit further away, but accessible by car, if you need to bring luggage to the door.

We arrived by train at Albacete and caught a taxi, the driver didn't have a clue how to get to the actual address, and had to stop a couple of times on the highway (Chinchilla is 14Kms from Albacete) to ask us the way! Eventually we wound our way up the mountain and asked the locals the directions. It was just 25mts away - after the ride the taxi driver charged €25, the taxi back to the train station €30 being Sunday (extra charge for Domingo). I'm

Rosanna and Eduardo were the perfect hosts. The Posada was beautifully set out, the suite had was 'Claudia' . All rooms are called after the women in the family, mothers, grandmothers of the hosts, a very nice touch. Clean, comfortable, access to a fridge downstairs in the honesty bar, the house is beautifully decorated with some lovely touches by local artisans, fabulous quality bedlinen, and ceiling fans (this was a first in our travels). The house is set in a small Calle up a slight hill from the Plaza Mayor, a historic area. The Posada has these features also, including the old well, and magnificent old wooden doors. Unfortunately we only had 1 night at this interesting town. Now a little about the village. Cafes in the square produce local foods, but be selective as some are not what we expect in texture, but the beer and wine are terrific and the locals welcoming. I think we were the first Australians to visit the area. Wish we had time to visit the castle at the top of the 'mountain', looks terrific, but we will be back, and it's on the agenda for next time. If going to The Posada allow time to explore, it will be worth it.

The location of the hotel makes parking a bit tricky. However, the hosts were very helpful in suggesting a road where we could park. No A/C meant our room was warm through the night. The hosts did provide ceiling fans and floor fans in the bedrooms and main room to help.

Beautiful property in a picturesque village. The hosts were extremely welcoming and have done an amazing job with restoring and maintaining the villa. Our room was very spacious and comfortable and the common areas are a great touch. The villa's location is central to all of the sights in town including the castle and town square.

Only a fan in the bedroom as they cannot install A/C in old building. Perhaps a mobile A/C unit could be put in occupied bedrooms we could hardly sleep in beautiful room due to build up of heat

The bed was 140cm, which was a bit uncomfortable for two normal sized adults, but not a real problem.

Beautiful old building in the centre of a great old town. Huge apartment and very cool despite the crazy heat! Our hostess was amazing and recommended a great winery tour.

Breakfast could be more generous and served in a brighter area of the site.

Great room and extremely characteristic building in the center of Chinchilla. Quiet with birds in the patio. Staff was kind, waiting for us till late at night.

Everything was excellent

What a great place to stay, such lovely hosts, even took us down to show us the cellar under the house and showed all over the house, plus a breakfast the next day
