How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

No hot water the moste of the days and they don't clean our room even i ask them many times only they change the towels after when i ask them.

It is basic you get what you pay for no breakfast no reception I read the reviews and brought my own tea and coffee mini Market top of ally got my milk and water yes I would go back as I said you get what you pay for it was clean and quiet and central George ireland

We were told to check in between 3-4pm but no one was at the reception and we had not been sent the code details for the key box. Luckily we had credit to call and get it resolved but took time to sort.
It's located on a lovely street. Quiet at night. Nice decoration in the communal area. Rooms basic but clean and decent size.

The apartment is separate and a 5 min walk from the hotel - a different street which we hadn't realised. It is still well located. Its also quite dark and on first appearance not very homely. We thought it would benefit from a mirror and a picture in the living space. We were very comfortable though and the facilities were very good.
The location on the old town is very good. The apartment was well equipped and the equipment was new and good spec. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was good. The outdoor terrace space was great though the weather was poor, so we didnt get to really use it.

I wasn't sent the key lock, had to call, then couldent get in as we were at wrong door, which wasn't made clear....never sent key lock...after waiting outside their other apartments, a very nice lady finally arrived...to tell us we were at their wrong property...rainy day... Once in the apartment its quite dark and smelt damp.... But very very clean...just needed airing.... But the lady on the phone was trying her best, just that she wasn't close by ..

We could have done with more pillows and as a personal preference, I prefer a quilt to the blankets.
Everything was super clean. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. In a beautiful part of old Benalmádena.

It is a lovely place in a quiet pedestrian street close to centre. Good facilities. A mistake was made with the booking (2 rooms instead of a full apartment) but we were offered a free few nights later in the year as compensation which was very generous. Really can't fault it. Thank you Pepé.

Only two small niggles, No batteries in the TV remote, it stated tea coffee etc we stayed two nights only two t bags and no sugar. I know it sounds petty but still a great location and would not hesitate to stay again in the future.

The lighting in the bathroom was insufficient as there is no natural light. Also, when you use the shower, the bathroom floods. This needs to be addressed.
Great location! The property was even nicer than it appeared in the pictures! We had access to a roof terrace. It was really lovely!

The lack of toiletries, toilet paper and tea, coffee and milk replacements. No water in the room. Very limited TV options. No room cleaning over 3 nights.

The apartment was clean and there was everything you needed for a short stay. There were enough dishes in the kitchen so that you could cook yourself. The location was great, the necessary services nearby and you could take the bus to Benalmadena Costa to the beach and restaurants. The roof terrace was a nice addition.

Only 2 teabags for 11 night stay. Dogs howling and barking at all times of the night at an adjoining property. Shower gel & shampoo were in sachets, not ideal for washing face & hands at the sink.
The location is fantastic. Staff very friendly, Pepi was lovely.
