Oh My Goodness! I am walking the Camino and fell way behind. Check in was 8 and I was an hour away. I had no idea how far off the Camino route this beautiful place was. I was exhausted with 24 miles done. I texted them to inform them. The owner found me 1km away and gave me a ride to the hotel. It was clear they were done for the day. They could have charged me and not let me in. Breakfast was so good and everyone was kind!

The hotel is set in a beautiful and tranquil rural location. The grounds are lovely to sit and relax in. It is a 5 minute drive to Ribadesella town, the beach or the Tito Bustillo caves. There is a friendly bar serving good food and few minutes walk or drive away. The owners are charming and friendly. Breakfast is of excellent quality. The hotel is kept spotlessly clean.

Everything was exceptional. Super clean, perfect hosts , fantastic views, very tasty and well presented breakfast. All at a very reasonable price. Could not have been happier… except as a pilgrim I had to walk a bit further to get there. Even the nearby restaurant was great.

It would be good if it were possible to make a hot drink as it is some distance from cafes/bars.

On a hill, about 2.5 k from Ribadesella, and the views are great. There are a couple of seating areas in the garden. The lounge had a wood stove, very welcome on a rainy evening. Good breakfast.

The last bit of road to the hotel is narrow and quite steep (my car scraped the ground). The bed was a bit short for my length (1m90) but otherwise very comfortable.

The building and location are scenic and quiet and I loved the view from my room, overlooking the valley. The room was cozy and comfortable and the host was very friendly. The breakfast was excellent. I stayed at La Llosona mainly to visit the nearby Parque Nacional Picos de Europa, but I also enjoyed walking around Ribadesella and visiting the Tito Bustillo cave.

everything!!! wow! the hospitality, the good smell that came from the fireplace as you enter, the warmth of the room, the coziness, the breakfast that was made with love, the wide shower, the comfortable mattress, the view from the window, the peacefulness. it was a perfect night there!

Not the hotel’s fault but the neighbor has a livestock guard dog that barks all night. I stayed for three nights and this dog was relentless. I had to sleep with earplugs in. Also when I had a guest to my room in the middle of the day because she couldn’t check into her hotel room yet and we were going to hangout before going to the spa up the road, she was stopped and not permitted to come to my room because I had listed myself as a “solo” traveler. I understand if this was nighttime as they don’t want more occupants but this was like noon… didn’t appreciate that.
