The high bunks are very far from the ground which feels precarious and uncomfortable.

The first step on the ladder of the top buck was very high. Breakfast was included, the receptionist advised the breakfast would be at 7:00am. I waited until 7:15am and nothing. Other pilgrims advised the person slept in and offered bread and jam by 7:45am. For pilgrims walking early and relying on food in the morning this was not ideal as the first town to find food after Comillas was 8km away just before San Vicente de la Barquera.

Decent laundry space, good communal space and dining room. Comfortable beds with power outlets and privacy curtains. Clean bathrooms.

This Albergue is perfect! :-) It's very clean, very modern (!) and the staff of the hostel is very nice and helpful. You have to go up the Hill a little bit but this does not matter. They have washing machines and a dryer and a kitchen - everything seems to be new and modern. Also the bathroom is modern (they also have hair dryers) and also very clean. The other guests in the hostel were very respectful and kind.The staff answered my questions I had about the public transport (I went to Vincente de la Baquera by bus and then from this place to Oviedo by bus) - they were very well informed about where a bus goes and when.

I was next to the reception desk and I wished the staff told some rather rude / clueless Italians to shut up! The two ladies talked to each other why the guy whistled. Granted we always have to deal with clueless pilgrims. It was great when a parish albergue told these three to get up and out in ten minutes one morning instead of lounging around in bed.

Excellently run albergue. They actually had hand soap plus soap, shampoo, and conditioner in the showers. (Take that last one with a bit of hesitation, I was there several weeks ago with lots of Camino Del Norte miles to blur my memory.) The individual bunks had curtains and power connections. Washer and dryer downstairs. It was a 5 to 7 minute walk to the market and restaurants. Breakfast provided in the morning. Upstairs common room and kitchen.

We stay a lot in different albergues during our camino walks and can confirm that there was nothing at all to complain about. Vice versa.. my friend forgot her reading glasses under the pillow and the host was so kind that he drove out of Comillas to return them. Gracias miles!

Very nice albergue! Very comfy private (curtains) beds with soft blanket and pillow. Well equipped kitchen and big enough dining area to fit nicely many peregrinos for dinner and breakfast. Cozy chill area with sofas. Great outside area for drying clothes or just relax.

The room was crowded. In a rainy day, there was no place to hang wet clothes.

Great atmosphere. Most of the guest are traveling on the Camino del Norte. It's a proper hostel experience. The place is freshly renovated, it's nice and clean. The kitchen is well equipped. The staff is helpful. They let me store my bicycle in a safe place. Breakfast is very good, this was the first place on my trip that served fresh bread. It's right in the town center, close to shops and restaurants.

This is a nice Albergue, spotlessly clean and very well run, the price is excellent with a good breakfast too, obviously for pilgrims, and they're well catered for, our only problem, ours not there's...is we're sizeable fellas and so it felt tight on space, so didn't feel refreshed ready for a long walk, however that's not their problem, all facilities and staff were really good, if you are walking the Camino I would recommend staying here...
