We travelled as a family of 6 ( with young children who had the best time . ) We were all overwhelmed by how lovely and stylish the rooms were and the very interesting history of the building . The wonderful staff were so very kind and helpful to make it a special stay for us . The location is a few minutes walk down a beautiful street to the cathedral and also many restaurants and shops nearby . An amazing find and we cant wait till we can return . My husband & arrived at the amazing La Ermita Suites (Único Hotel Monumento de Córdoba) on Friday, only to find that we had been graciously upgraded to a larger suite. We were treated with a mini tour of this historic set of buildings by Javier who was exceptioally knowledgeable. Our suite was spacious, beautifully appointed, with a lovely view through the garden to the Islamic horseshoe gate. It was quiet, if not serene. The location was exceptional and every monument/place of interest was no more than 11 minutes away - 2 minutes to the Mezquita! What a joy this hotel is!

The history of this convent-turned hotel is a pleasant surprise! The rooms are tastefully designed, spacious and clean, the bed and in-room sofa are very comfortable, and both the kitchenette and bathroom are well equipped. The host Javier is super attentive and helpful! Thanks for suggesting the restaurants and the hammam, we had a great time in Cordoba!

This is a fabulous small hotel, beautifully constructed in the old surrounds of a middle age church with reminders of the original architecture in the rooms and common areas . Excellent location, a few minutes walk from the Mezquita, but quiet. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Absolutely amazing! Suites are very comfortable, including all the convenience for private meals, a bed with linen sheets to dream and nice shower to relax. 10 stars for Mr. Javier for the warmest welcome and history lessons. A unique experience to be hosted at historical site.

It's a small thing but a few more hooks in the bathroom and a shelf in the shower is something I appreciate.

This historic property is in the historic center of Cordoba in a lovely little square. Throughout our stay many people stopped to take photos of the beautiful propoerty. It is central to everything and in our 4 days we kept discovering new nooks and crannys to explore. Javier was genteel, doing everything possible to make our stay exceptional. He went above and beyond. Javier booked us for a show at the Royal Stables. The seats were premium and the show was a highlight. The hidden kitchen was well equipped. The windows in our room were fantastic for shutting out all noise from the nearby streets and plaza. However during the day we loved the background noise of people enjoying the nearby plaza cafe.

The location (5mn from Mezquita) and the authenticity of the house. Welcome of the team! Everything to prepare by ourself a simple breakfast. It was quiet except on Sunday evening in the street. Add a small table and some small coat racks. And why not, adding an air evacuation in the shower. But this is a few details

This hotel was amazing! It is completely modernized hotel in a very old building with so much history! Staff was amazing and extremly helpful on what to do and where to go. It is perfectly located in the old part of town where you can walk everywhere!

The shower smelled musty

The location of this hotel is excellent. A beautiful historic monument hotel in the old part of town and a 2 minute walk to the Mezquita (which was breathtaking!). The staff were so friendly and extremely helpful, especially Laura who answered all of my questions, had plenty of suggestions, and prompt responses. They also offer to arrange any experiences you may be interested in. Before my arrival, Laura sent me a great list of things to do, many that I did not even know were options in Cordoba. It was a good insight to the history of the city. When I asked about the local wine, Laura said they had some at their little bar. So I bought a glass and she brought it out to me to drink on their romantic outdoor patio -dreamy!

Sleeping in the historical place is a such privilege!!!! Our room was amazing, ellegant decororation and very comfortable beds. The location is perfect, 3.minutes walk from all the attractions. What made this trip is the owner of this magical place Javier, very passionate about his work. He recomended and organized a private tour with the guide which was a five star experience.
