Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Everything about this property is amazing. Such a warm welcome and the suite El cielo was so beautiful - my husband wrongly translated that as heaven ( it means sky) but he wasn’t wrong! The views from the room and from the private terrace are unreal - the bathroom even had its own spectacular view of the Alhambra too and is like a private pool. If you stay here you must eat in the excellent restaurant which is just a few stairs up from the room and of course again with unrivalled views.

United KingdomAlthough the mini bar had champagne and good quality spirits and juices, I would recommend that the guests are provided with a free bottle of water each day. It sometimes felt like the hardworking staff could have been supplemented with more to help during the morning
The view from the room was just amazing. The room was very clean, the air conditioning worked well and was very quiet. The staff were very friendly and worked very hard to make our stay welcoming. Breakfast was good and we had it brought to our terrace in the morning. Although chargeable, the car park was great.

United StatesNothing negative to state. The drain in our shower didn’t work that well, but that can be easily fixed.
Such a beautiful and unique place to stay. The owner and staff make you feel as if it were your own home. The deluxe/el cielo room gives you a massive terrace and two big windows to enjoy a breathtaking view of Granada and the Alhambra. The bed was comfortable, the AC worked well, the shower was good, and they give you everything you could need for an amazing stay. Breakfast good also.

AustraliaMy only suggestion is that they could make drinking water more easily available in the eating and public areas.
Fabulous staff. Alicia was a delight, giving us continually personalised attention and ensuring we had everything we needed and wanted. It has a remarkable location with an exquisite view of the Alhambra and mountains behind, and is very accessible by foot to the immediate attractions of the Albaicín and the Alhambra. If you’re not up to venturing out, you can simply enjoy the food and the view. The bed was super-comfortable and it was quiet and peaceful.

United KingdomThis is the best hotel we have ever been How to describe this magic property..? The location in front of the Alhambra is mesmerising and every room has the same privilege: stunning uninterrupted views of the Alhambra. Our room had a terrace where we could have breakfast, a glass of champagne or anything in the menu of their lovely restaurant. The rooms (that we had the chance to visit guided by Angu, the delightful owner) are exquisite, comfortable large beds, with 800 threads linen (I asked!) bathrooms from a fairy tale, marble, tasteful frescos made by local artists, woodcarvings, antiques, brilliant atmospheric lighting and beautiful, comfy lattice woven chairs and tables where to sit, drink and read feeling like a traveller from a Matisse painting… the house is so atmospheric! And it embraces you with the charm and the light of a true Andalusian dream… the present itself sits peacefully on layers and layers of the loving past of the owner’s family and their warm, elegant hospitality. And you abandon yourself to the precious present moment and you wouldn’t want to ever leave… We where greeted by Alicia that has cared for us from the beginning to the end of our 3 nights stay with warmth and professionalism in a very effective and attentive manner that made us feel cared with discretion and grace… it is the little things, you know, how you like your guanciale crisp in the morning… The team of the restaurant in the beautiful terrace facing Alhambra are professional, attentive and kind and the food is excellent, great great product sourced locally, perfectly cooked! (And thank you for catering for our business meeting in ‘el Cenador’ it was a resounding success!!

United KingdomHonestly, nothing.
This little hotel is exceptional in every way. With just four rooms you feel special from the moment you arrive. There were people queuing outside to watch the sun go down from the hotel's beautiful rooftop terrace restaurant with incredible views of the Alhambra when we arrived. We were shown straight in to a table and brought drinks. The breakfast is so good and served with such grace in a lovely little dining room as the sun comes up over the Alhambra. The room we stayed in was perfect with a great comfy bed, a private steam room and every little luxury and touch you could think of. And no TV, which was refreshing and telling. The room was about the huge picture window framing the view, not the tele! The staff were brilliant with us. I have visited many hotels and cities. Granda is beautiful and there is no better place to experience it than here. Treat yourself, its worth every penny.
