Beautiful location, wondrous house with lovely decorated bedrooms and common lounges. Extremely nice owners who made sure we were comfortable. Great table-served breakfast with a beautiful view.

How hard it was to get on a taxi

The room we stayed in was ground level and quite noisy, but at night there is almost no pedestrian or car traffic so it was great. Please listen to hotels advice about parking/taxi, as it is quite a walk up the hill from closest parking.

A cosy hotel with very boutique feel to it, it's located right in the historic centre of Arcos, great service and also fantastic atmosphere.

Nothing to not like.

Everything was wonderful, we felt like we were treated like family, delicious breakfast served on the terrace, beautiful view from our room, convenient to many restaurants, historical area, comfortable beds. We watched the swifts flying each evening from the terrace. It was a tiny oasis.

Overall great, but the lighting in the bathroom was a little challenging.

Loved the view. Great central location. Host was very accommodating-calling a taxi to pick us up from the lower parking garage. Loved the courtyard and plunge pool.

The beds were too soft for us, the rooms are a bit small, and there were small ants in the bedroom. Breakfast was good but no source of protein was provided (eggs, ham...)

The staff and owners are very professional and friendly. The views are excellent. The place is very charming and warm. The rooms are ready for both cold and hot weather.

It's hard to reach with the tiny roads so you must make allowances for parking a few km away and walking or getting a taxi.

Very charming house with specious bedroom overlooking a beautiful countryside. Very friendly welcome from the owner, who recommend a couple of good restaurants for the night. The property is located in the old part of the town with a walking distance from the car park. Good breakfast served from 9am. The location is very quiet so you wont get any traffic noise. The house has many different "corners" where you can take a seat and rest with a book or simply enjoy the cozy atmosphere of this lovely property. Also it was a very good value for the money.

Beautiful property. Central location made it difficult to access by car, but staff made everything as easy as possible giving parking details and arranging for taxis. Stunning room, views and balconies. Excellent breakfast and great honesty bar for the hot afternoon!

The only real change I would ask for is to have the information about not being able to bring/have a car at the site. It was quite difficult to move baggage, and our tired selves at the end of the day, up the long hill. I understand this is part of the deal with medieval towns, but as I do not live in one, I did not have the imagination to guess that we could not have a car there, or park it nearby, and that was quite difficult. We did hear about this, but only earlier that same day we arrived. I am glad we stayed there, and probably would not have booked if we had known, but I have a significant injury to one of my legs and though there 'are taxis', there really were not taxis when we needed/wanted one, nor did we get a response by calling the taxi dispatch. So that was a fairly large issue for us, but otherwise very nice.

Owners were lovely and helpful. Place lovely if small [undersatandable]. Breakfast very nice with terrific setting and view.

Beautiful place with amazing views. Our room was spacious, nicely decorated and comfortable. Breakfast was good in the lovely courtyard. Very well located in the old part of the town with lots of places to eat and drink nearby. Would recommend.

The pool was great and the terraces were beautiful. We really liked the private terrace that came with the Azul room too. Good location in the old town.

The breakfast was expensive and I would have preferred a little more choice of food but the table was laid beautifully on a table in front of an incredible view. It was a perfect start for the day.,
