Liked everything.

Brilliant. Breakfast caters for all with a great selection. Pool is a good size for activities for children or for a dip. Location is good and only 12-15 min walk to the main area.

Location is up a steep hill over the old town. Whilst I enjoy walking it wasn’t a problem but for anyone who doesn’t like walking or has to push a buggy or wheelchair then it’s a no.

Apartment was lovely. Breakfast was fab. Plenty of choice. Only had dinner once but it wasn’t great. No A la Carte menu available. Just buffet style.

You needed to pay for the safe deposit. Also while during the breakfast there was a big variety of beverages, including different types of alcohol, which were free of charge, during dinner time we were charged 2,30 euros for the small water bottle.

The hotel was very clean, the staff very professional and friendly. It was about 10-15 min walk to the beach, the supermarket was 5 mins away. If you rent an electric car, you can charge it in the parking under the hotel and at a very cheap rate. The hotel beds were also very comfortable!

We had a really pleasant stay at this hotel and would gladly recommend it to others. We arrived quite late on our first night – well after midnight – and were positively surprised to find a cold dinner waiting for us. A thoughtful touch that we truly appreciated. All the hotel staff were incredibly kind and warm-hearted throughout our stay. At one point, we asked if it was possible to change our room to a higher floor, and they did their best to accommodate us. In the end, we decided to stay in our original room as it was conveniently located right in front of the sun loungers – which turned out to be very practical. The food was varied and tasty, with enough options to satisfy different tastes. The pool water was a bit cold for me personally, but that’s just a matter of preference. The location is good – it’s a bit of a walk to Playa Grande, but the uphill part isn’t too steep. Also, the bus stop is right in front of the hotel, which is super convenient for getting around. All in all, we had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

Only issue was the WiFi often dropped in certain parts of the room but not the end of the world.

We'd stayed in Gloria Izaro the year before and had no second thoughts about booking the property once again. The staff are so attentive, rooms are clean, the property is quiet and respectful and food is fresh and varied.

Being vegetarian, food options were limited and not marked as vegetarian or not. I thought marking the food items was quite common, but it seems it isn't in Spain.

Lovely, quiet hotel with everything you need for a relaxing break in the sun. If you don’t mind walking, the old town is a 10-15 minute walk or 15-20 minutes for the beachfront bars and restaurants. Food at the Izaro Club was lovely. Everything freshly made and we did find something enjoyable every night we ate there. Drinks were very reasonably priced. Room was fabulous, cleaned daily. The water, cava and chocolates in the room was a nice touch. Would highly recommend!

Well appointed apartment with kitchen, living area, bedroom and bathroom, plus terrace. Beds are large and very comfortable. We stayed on half board basis for six nights and food in the restaurant was always very good The staff were friendly and attentive. Room service daily. A 900m walk downhill to Playa Chica beach Plenty of sunbeds to choose from and good pool and pool bar. Overall the hotel was very well managed. We would stay here again next time we visit Puerto del Carmen. Also, free public parking directly in front of the hotel.
