Small swimming pool for size of hotel

The area is very noisy, and the pool doesn't get any sun as it's located between the buildings. Considering these aspects, I would say the price is a bit too high for what is offered

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The building provides all the essential facilities, and I really appreciated the convenience of having shops nearby. The area is full of restaurants and entertainment options, and it's very close to the city center

They didn't have great food choices in the restaurant but only 20 minute walk into town where there are lots of options.

It was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and welcomming. For the quality of the rooms the price was very reasonable and in a good location.

We love this hotel. Visited the place 3 times already. Very comfortable stay and delicious breakfast buffet. Close enough to city beach and to the center. Parking available. Very close to the airport by car or train.

The gym was a bit limited and the pool didn’t open until 10 am. Also weirdly the tv turned on every time you entered the room and played marketing for the hotel.

We didn't like the fact that the breakfast is not included and we had to pay 15€ each , also the location , there weren't any food shops or places closer and we had to walk quite a bit every time we needed something and it's a bit of a walk to the town centre also other than that the stay in this hotel was brilliant

Our stay was nice and comfortable , the hotel was very clean the beds were comfortable and the staff were very helpful especially the cleaners, the ladies were very kind to us whenever we needed something , the beach was close enough about 10min walk , the swimming pool was nice

Stayed at ILUNION Malaga in August. Hotel is clean, and modernly decorated. Staff is friendly and welcoming. There is a bar at hotel with snacks and quick bites. No formal dinning at site however plenty available within few minutes of walking. Hotel has Turkish steam room, Sauna and pool open from 9-9. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was served well with plenty of options to choose from. The only thing was it was a bit far from main downtown area, like 25-30 mins walk. Centro historic was ten minutes walk where most of the restaurants are. We enjoyed our visit and will surely return if we visit Malaga again.

Dogs are allowed. Was woken up at night by a dog barking in the corridor.

Breakfast was superb. Rooms and beds were comfortable. Pool and facilities were good. Location was about 15 mins walk to centre of Malaga.

The lift was kinda slow and always busy ( at the end of our stay, we noticed that there was also another lift somewhere else to use). The hair dryer was not definitely made for drying hair unless you're almost bald

The View was amazing, and the room itself was gorgeous. Bed was a king size that really was the star. The location was also great. Just 15 minutes walk to beaches or city centre and less than 10minutes walk to train station. Clean and almost perfect room

Absolutely perfect in every way! Hotel Ilunion in Malaga went above and beyond all my expectations. Spotless cleanliness throughout the entire property, with every detail perfectly maintained. The staff are exceptionally friendly, professional, and available 24/7 — they truly make you feel like a valued guest. My room was spacious, luxuriously comfortable, and felt like a home away from home. The spa area is pure relaxation heaven, and the breakfast is simply outstanding — abundant, varied, and delicious, with something for everyone. The restaurant and bar serve excellent food and drinks at great prices. Without a doubt, this is the best hotel experience I’ve ever had, and if I return to Malaga, I wouldn’t even consider staying anywhere else!

It’s a bit of a walk to the nice part of the beach but you can take a taxi (there are also buses but I didn’t stay long enough to figure out bus routes). Housekeeping left my door room open one day, (I got back at 11pm). Luckily I had put my valuables in the safe & nothing was missing. On the plus side, housekeeping ladies were very smiley & nice & always waited for me to leave the room in the afternoon, they were flexible & work around my timings. In general, it’s a nice hotel with pleasant staff.

My room was spacious with a wide and comfortable bed. I really liked the swimming pool even though it was small, I still enjoyed it (it has hydrotherapy points). All staff were extremely helpful and friendly, special mention to (Germán and Jesús) but all other reception & bar staff were lovely. I’m happy to have stayed at this hotel and I would stay here again.
